The council are running a survey on budget saving ideas for D&G. They need to save £30 million over 3 years. Some of the 48 ideas are reducing addition learning support by 25% cutting funding for Youth Beatz and reducing school estates and Castle Douglas swimming pool.

Starting this Saturday we are bringing you a 4-week Winter Sensory Play Adventure Series. Designed for children aged 7 and under, each session immerses kids in a cozy, hands-on experience inspired by a beloved winter story. It’s the perfect way to bring stories to life through messy play, sensory exploration, and festive fun!

Event Details:
When: Saturdays, 10:30 AM - 12 PM
Where: Balmaghie Hall, Laurieston (opposite The Gallery)

This Saturday marks the start of our magical 4-week Winter Sensory Play Adventure series! Each session is inspired by a beloved winter story, kicking off with the classic One Snowy Night. Kids will step into a snowy wonderland, exploring the story through messy, sparkly, and sensory activities that engage their imagination and all their senses.

Week 1: One Snowy Night
Dive into a frosty landscape filled with sensory surprises inspired by this timeless winter tale. From squishy snow to sparkly textures, each activity brings the story to life in a creative and festive way.
Each week will feature a new winter story theme, offering unique activities and opportunities for little ones to explore, create, and make new friends in a warm, welcoming environment.

Session Details:
🕰️ When: Saturdays, 10:30 AM - 12 PM
