Kcs Kitchen will be open again tomorrow. We look forward to welcoming you back through our doors and serving you your favourites!

As you all know, we closed for 5 days for our kitchen to be deep cleaned and painted and our extraction deep cleaned. This was all organised and booked in back on 4th of may.
after been told on our last environmental health visit that this was mandatory to keep our 4 stars and progress to 5 stars, on the next visit. Due to the nature of the job, it would be 3 days cleaning and 2 days painting which meant I would need to close for 5 days so a mini cruise for us was booked to take full advantage of the time us girls didn't need to be in work!

After keeping in touch with Gaz Tansley (Clean Co Ltd) who quoted the job and booked us in, we kept in regular contact and he also become a Facebook friend. He knew how important this job was to me and my business and that i was closing my business for it to be done. Last Thursday he confirmed to me that he would meet us at the cafe to start the work at 9am, and a few days prior to this he also messaged me to inform me that there would be an additional £200 to the additional quote (just over a week before the job) not great but I confirmed it would be okay and that it just needed doing and that it was okay.

Fast forward to Monday morning & He never turned up, ignored his mobile calls and messenger texts. I had given him my grandad's number for contact as after Monday morning, it would be him whom would be letting him in and locking up whilst he carried the job out. We had to leave to travel to Southampton , on the way we continued to attempt to contact him and so did my grandad, - no answer. Around lunchtime he then had blocked both of our numbers and blocked me on Facebook.

Despite the drama, the inconvenience and the fact I've closed my business for 5 days, let my regular customers down and lost a weeks takings , we managed to enjoy our holiday but the fact I am FURIOUS is an understatement.

I would however wish to Thank our Painter John for his hard work and doing what he could without the proper cleaning done before, so at least some parts of the kitchen are fresh and clean.

When it comes to common decency and being a decent human being I'm pretty keen and this is just the pinnacle of been the exact opposite and on top of that a coward!

I'm not one for naming and shaming but this has to be done, I really wouldn't want another hard working local business to be put in the position I am in right now. Steer clear of Clean Co Ltd.

But on a brighter note, it's the weekend! have a blast everyone!
