Wedding number 2 yesterday Wow!! I just love the Protea in the brides bouquet. One of my favourite designs.
The colours compliment each other.
I forgot to take pictures of all the buttonholes .
It was in a beautiful setting love the guest accommodation. Congratulations to the happy couple.

As National Florist Day is fast approaching I'm excited to be taking part and celebrating the first ever National Florist Day with other florists across the UK and Ireland.
I've not always been a Florist, I used to be Blue coat singing & Dancing for 14 years which I really loved and met so many amazing people along the way. I thought I would carry on for the rest of my life but things change and your path in life changes ,we settle down, have children and have a wonderful life but still have our ups and downs in life. I wanted a career change so I decided my path was in Education working for business support, which I have been for the past 20 years.This then led me into the Floristry industry, just starting out on a small course to then taking my exams and becoming a Floral Teacher which I absolutely love. Teaching is a great achievement for me as I love the workshops and demonstrations I do around Yorkshire.
The other side of me is taking part in competitions I love displaying the artistry in me no matter what the result . It makes me proud to be a florist making lots of memories for me, my customers, Students and making friends with all the other floral designers out there.
Happy Florist Day to you all on Saturday 8thJune.
