After the cut off date I will then transfer all attending to a private group where the finer details (plus payment details) will be published.

So the time has come for me and Gillian to say good bye to the Army after 25 years and we could not think of a better way to celebrate it than with all of you.

If you have been added to this chat it means along my 25 years’ service you have been a part of this in one way or another and I hold the memories of our time together close to my heart , I know you may not all be able to attend and I fully understand but please take this invitation as a small thank you from me and Gillian be making our army life such a special one.

I have created this group to send out invites and information regarding the dinner night so please see below key information

The night will be a formal Dinner night with a 5-course meal, there will be a group photo , entertainment, lots and lots of drinking and loads of dancing. It will be a regimental dinner but more relaxed and this will all be explained on the evening as I want everyone to enjoy them self’s while our civilian friends get a tase of what a military dinner night is like

Location: Gaza Barracks WO’s & Sgts Mess ( Hipswell Road , Catterick Garrison DL9 4AU) – transport will be available on the evening -

Dress:

Serving mess member Mess dress

Civilian guests Male Black Tie ( ex-servicing members may wear miniature medals )

Ladies – Dresses to the ankle or floor

Cost: We will try to keep the cost down as much as possible and it should not go above £40-45 a head – remember the beer and booze is cheap as chips in the mess
