Celebrate English Wine Week
Wayford Wine on sale in the Flower Shop from our local wine growing cooperative. This Somerset sparkling white wine is from Pinot Noir grapes harvested from the Wayford Wine vineyard in Wayford. £25 bottle, available chilled, ready to drink.

Learn how to arrange flowers in the relaxed atmosphere of The Garden Room, suitable for all abilities. Flowers, foliage and equipment are provided, so you just need to turn up and enjoy creating a beautiful arrangement to take away.

There are two sessions on each course, in the afternoon between 2.30 pm – 4 pm and in evening 7.30 pm – 9 pm £45. The Garden Room is within easy walking of the town centre and ample parking is also available. Light refreshments will be provided.

Snowdrops, flowers of hope. My Ukrainian friend has dug these snowdrops from her garden and snowdrops planted ‘in the green’ will flower next year. £1 bunch, all monies taken will go directly to support those in Ukraine.

festive workshops at The Garden Studio in Chard.
First to tell you about is A Succulent Christmas Tree,
where you will create a living Christmas tree table
centre, using succulents that can then be enjoyed for
the rest of the year.
Thursday 2nd December 7pm £45 per person to include all materials.

The Flower Shop is open again, after suffering from the ‘pingdemic’… the most wonderful week was had in the flower garden.

And the bride, from America, wore blue...arrangement for homecoming.
White larkspur for an open heart and dark blue for true love. Campanula symbolising constancy and hypericum strength.
The roses are white, ‘I am worthy of you’ and the spray roses ‘I am worthy of you, my darling.’ Blossom and p***y willow for new beginnings and also eupatorium as it is native to North America, it’s use surprised me!

Hellebores in this spring arrangement represent tranquility. All arrangements are in natural materials, this one is in moss and wire fashioned in re-used urn.
