I was so fortunate to be asked by Lisa and Tom to shoot their wedding day at the beautiful venue in St Osyth's Priory, Essex.

Although we had to face the fierce wind and rain of storm Ciaran. That never stopped it turning out to be the most fantastic wedding day as you can see from the slideshow images using the link below.

My heartfelt thanks to Lisa and Tom, and everyone including their ring bearing pet dog Khan lol, for being so co-operative during those tough weather conditions. Dave :-).

If anyone is struggling to book a Christmas Mini Shoot, or just can't afford the going rate for one this might help you, plus a very worthwhile charity.

RSPCA Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield are holding their annual Toys and Treats on Sunday 10th December 2023 from 11am till 3am

Father Christmas will be there along with his helpers Dave the Elf (me) taking photos helped by Jackie the Fairy Queen, and all proceeds then going to Danaher.

Below are some of last years pictures people paid a £10 donation for, and this years Christmas theme will be very different and worth being in with Santa of course.

I had the good fortune to be asked to be the official photographer for little Sophie's 4th birthday party in Springfield.

Along with Amy a fantastic children's entertainer on hand, we managed to get some cracking shots of the kids in action plus some great candids too.

Now with parents permission I can share with you a little 7 min YouTube slideshow video that I hope you'll enjoy in seeing all the fun we had.

It can be viewed on any device or even your smart TV for a nice big screen, great sound, and Popcorn lol :-)

Please share, like, comment if you wish, as someone you know may think this would be better idea for them than a static Photo-booth, plus a lot less expensive too.

I don't get many chances to do horse and rider shoots, so was very happy to get this opportunity to photograph the lovely Amy with her beautiful pony Honey who she has had for the last 15 years.

Sadly Honey has become quite poorly of late, and Amy knows the dreaded time is approaching when she must say goodbye to her beloved friend.

So my very important role was to capture the love they share that has formed the very strong bond between them. 🐴💝

With freezing temperatures last Sunday, thankfully some still managed braving the icy road conditions to bring their Toys and Treats for the animals in the Danaher RSPCA care.
Once again Santa arrived in his sleigh, and with the help of my Fairy Queen assistant Jacqueline, we captured some really lovely memories for families in the sleigh, plus we raised some very much needed donations too. Dave :-) 🧑‍🎄

After being highly recommended on our local community page to do a Christening for twins. Hannah and her hubby gave me the honour to do the shoot, which went fantastically well I must say.

So after nearly 2 years the twins have now grown into 2 beautiful little girls, and once again Hannah has allowed me to capture their sweet little looks, and has given her consent for me to show you them here. :-)

I've taken many 1000s of doggie photos over the years, and most I'm happy to say I'm usually quite pleased with.

But now and again a very special one is grabbed at just the exact best moment, and I think this one of these puppy sisters all loved up and bonding warrants being one of them.

I am very fortunate to be gifted with a little foresight into when I think a good photograph is about to happen.
While on my photography stand at the Great Leighs Jubilee Fun Day event, I saw this young lady around 25 meters from me feeding a baby in the shade.

I called over to her may I take your picture to which she agreed. So I told her just relax carry on and don’t pose. I clicked off several shots as she was moving about, and I think you’ll agree this one is the hero shot.

Have I just had the best couple of Jubilee Bank Holiday days ever. I met with some wonderful people who wanted their picture taken with the Queen to make for some very memorable photos for years to come.

I can't wait to get them all edited and sent to them to be enjoyed for many generations to come I'm sure.
So a big thank you to you all who came, and also having great fun together creating these lovely keep sakes. Dave :-)

You stop for a bite of lunch at an outdoor cafe in the sun while away for a few days in Norfolk. When in come 2 ladies with 2 striking looking dogs, but there is one of them you just have to get a photo of.
I asked politely after having a friendly doggie chat with them if I could take the picture. I took quite a few, but this one will hit the spot for any dog lover knowing they give you their unconditional love, and I think it shows that love here very well.
Thank you Jules for allowing me to take this image, one of my all time fav’s for sure. 🙂

While walking around happily snapping away during our weekly GSDR group walk I came across this couple with their 2 lovely Spaniels.

I heard them say how beautiful the pink blossoms were on the tree they were standing under, and said they must come back with our camera to get a nice picture here.


So your’s truly offered to take a picture there and then because I know how quickly that blossom soon dies and disappears. Well here is the finished result which if they get in touch as promised I will send it to them.

Just wanted to thank at Chelmsford for asking me to do their Santa's Grotto photos, and Doggie Fun Day with Santa last weekend. I had a really great time, and met some wonderful dogs and owners, who worked wonders with me to get some stunning images we all loved. Thank you all so very much Dave. (The one who was dressed as an Elf) 😄
