I’ve really enjoyed making this bespoke set for one lovely bride!! She wanted pearls but with a colour accent to match a treasured necklace that is being worn at the wedding.
I’ve made a set of Blossom hair pins, Angel earrings & a Stella bracelet, all using the emerald crystals made in Austria.
I’m so chuffed with this set and love the colours.

So as we enter an exciting new wedding season with an influx of new followers, I thought it was time to show my face and introduce myself.
My name is Tanya and I’m the owner/ designer/ maker at Chez Bec.
I bought this amazing business in 2017 and I love it so much!!! Every piece that leaves my studio is handmade by me especially for you - there’s no better job on this planet 😊
My Essex studio is based on the stunning Hylands Estate near Chelmsford and I am open to the public. I’m in the converted Stables in the Courtyard next to the main House.
Some fun facts about me:
❣️I was born in South Africa and came to Chelmsford in 1979. I was 9 and it was a bit of a culture shock 🙃.
❣️ I love a wedding - they make me cry! So when I see my jewellery in real life wedding photos, it’s a fantastic feeling.
❣️I’ve been making and selling jewellery since I was 13. It’s my absolute passion. There was never any doubt that this was what I would do.
❣️I’ve been married for 21 years! I know!!!! We met on a blind date and have been inseparable ever since.
❣️Bring me a cup of black Earl grey tea and a big slice of cake and we’ll be friends forever.
So I hope that gives you little insight into who I am. My forte is making bespoke jewellery so if you have some ideas for your wedding, please get in touch and make an appointment (online or in person is fine). I’d love to chat with you.
