It was a very special brief for my fabulous sister Helen Skybak 40th celebrations… no normal table would do! A combination of tropicals, cerises, oranges, golden fruit and disco balls… loved it 🥰 The perfect venue to create wow factor flowers at the wonderful Boxted Hall with superb Mexican Japanese fusion dining from Boxed Events Cambridge. What an evening ! 🥂 x

Amazing day meeting with the British Florist Association to discuss the year ahead and incredible things planned for florists & BFA members in the not too distant future. Will keep you posted! Lovely to catch up with so many flower friends and make new ones 💐

Today we played host to all our Corporate Members in London at Lycett Towers updating them on our plans as a trade association, sharing our predictions for the industry and collaborating on ways we can support our BFA and IPF membership further.

We relished the opportunity to get face to face, and we’re so grateful to everyone that made it, including some of our newer partners. We were also pleased to have Sir Chris Bryant, Shadow Minister for Creative Industries, join us. He was keen to know more about our industry and the challenges suppliers face.

We’ll be sharing some of the outcomes and updates from today on future posts, so eyes peeled 👀

Creative Director Katrina has had a long-term passion for the art of floristry and achieved a Distinction when she studied the subject at WUC. Her team shares her passion for floral design and have all studied the craft with us at Writtle.

Katrina added, “I loved my time at WUC; I built a brand-new knowledge base and skill set with the guidance of amazing lecturers. I came in as a novice and left with a distinction in good stead for what I wanted to do. I was able to launch my business with confidence in my ability, Writtle giving me the knowledge to follow my passion".
