George Berryman - Background.
Young performer, George Berryman has burst into the magic scene after having an interest in performing magic and illusions since the age of 6. Following this, from a young age, he joined the Young Magician’s Circle, pursued further interest by assisting with the teaching at the children's magic workshops at the oldest magic shop in the world, Davenport’s Magic, London.
At just the age of 16, he’d created his own effect which struck interest by some of the countries finest magicians and named it Sealed. This was then seen on the shelves amongst a major magic store in London and ever since been a great success. Following this, when George reached 18 years of age, just a matter of months later, he started his own magic production company known as ‘An Evening of Magic’ where he has gone to sell-out, host and produce every single showing he has since constructed. After contacting and requesting other acts across the magic world to be part of his shows he is now working with some of the world's very best performers to feature in his own shows, including the likes of Britain’s Got Talent WINNER, Richard Jones, the shows respective runner-up from 2015, Jamie Raven and other TV sensations such as Magical Bones (as seen perform on the BAFTA’s) and Britain’s got Talent finalist, Christian Lee.
In addition all to this success before even hitting the age of 19, George has now upgraded his shows even further as he has dates booked for this year to host his own shows again but in theatres seating over 1/2 a thousand people and he is now a full member of the Official Magic Circle as well as an applicant for the process of Britain’s Got Talent 2020. Following this, George as a result, is highly anticipated to be one of the next high profile acts for the new magical era.
Winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2016, Richard Jones describes George as “a wonderful magician with a bright future ahead of him”. Currently, George is most recently known for being stage manager on Richard’s 2020 tour of ‘ESCAPE’ which can be seen around many areas around the country.
