Afghan Children hosed with water and abuses by local resident while they play in a open green area
*Green Space on Tydemans is for Everyone*
Afghan War Refugee Children were verbally abused and hosed with water today while playing football on the green.
Hamptons is currently supporting an organised Half Term Program for Afghan Refugee Children settle into the UK by having fun, games and various activities at the centre.
It was a beautiful sunny day so the children were taken by the supervisors to the green to play.
The abuse and hosing with water then started, the children were rushed back in and the man confronted the supervisors. The incident has now been reported to the Police.
The children were traumatised by the experience.
We ask people to recognise this area is for everyone and Hamptons is also open to everyone.
