The lido
Well this was the only content I managed to get last night at the Lido season ticket holders summer party because 2 minutes later the gates opened and the next time I stopped for a breath was at 10pm when those gates shut again.
Wow, what a night. Thank you to everyone who came and tried our pizza pockets, brownies and blondies. We hope you enjoyed EVERY bite and that you had a flippin fantastic night. We sure loved being there with you.
By we, I actually mean I. It was just little old me, all on my own, and so apologies and thank you for being so patient and so supportive of me trying to remain calm under pressure.
Ps Now I know you lot have exceptionally good taste, I'll bring in the reinforcements next time!
Pps also flippin lovely to be next to Stimulatte Mobile Coffee Shop and be looked after with the perfect hot chocolate.

Oh my goodness, what a weekend, we didn't stop!
We absolutely loved baking, making, cutting, shaping, rolling, drizzling, spreading and creating boxes and platters of party food and takeaway for some very lucky kids celebrating birthdays and bank holidays.
Back we go to the day job...for a rest!
The hot choccy stirrer
The hot choccy stirrer.
As we can't be there to pour the tea, our afternoon tea boxes each include a hot choccy stirrer. That way, you just need a small mug of warm milk and leave your kid to do the rest.
Et voila...chocolatey milk OR a melty chocolatey spoon served with warm milk!
Our spoons come laden with milk choccy and mini marshmallows (but PJ picked hers off because she's still not a fan of those little fluffy sweeties).
The delicious mac n cheese
Someone's got a little birthday celebration going on later. That someone is a big kid. Actually, she's a legit grown-up.
She's collecting her birthday party food from...PJ's Kitchen.
But that's OK, because although we make our mac n cheese (and everything else) with kids in mind, it just so happens that grown-ups love it too.

Taste-tester at work
Good morning!
It's a very exciting week here at PJ's Kitchen as we start baking for our long-awaited kids' afternoon tea box.
We have our taste-testers prepped and ready to try it out on Saturday (see our chief taste-tester doing what she does best here) followed by a soft launch with a handful of kids the week after, and THEN it'll be available for party orders!
Of course, we don't want anyone to miss out, so we're also planning an afternoon tea takeaway tucker in the not too distant future.
