🤩 You guys are organised - I love it! 🤩 last year we had bookings 11months in advance and though it seemed soooo far in the future, it soon crept up and the best bit … everyone was super chilled! I’m slowly coming round to this idea of organisation, it seems intriguing 😄

Hello 🙋🏻‍♀️ - Happy New Year are all that jazz! Been a while, hey!
So, 2023 was a plot twist we were not expecting which took me off in lots of directions and something had to give - I’m sure a lot of self employed would agree that social media is the first thing they’d happily give up if it didn’t effect business. Social media got the cut for me and amazingly it didn’t affect business but it did free me up to focus on other areas.
Aaaaanyway - we’re still here pedalling around, bringing big smiles to little faces and meeting lots of wonderful customers - I love our customers!!! And having the best time!

Roll on 2024 - things are about to get interesting!

I'm a true believer in the fact that it is good to talk - the more we do the more we learn from others so I'm turning to you. What are your best cake swaps or treat swaps for a party? Are you over the whole 'oh its a party let them eat what they want' or are you allll for it - trust me if I had it my way, everyday would be a party and I would eat-it-all!! I just know the fall out from letting mine eat too much of the good stuff so if we can find ways to keep it fun but healthy then surly that's a win 🌟

We're talking cake alternatives - This is a subject we have had a lot recently, especially with our Gold Packages, when we work closely with caterers. A lot of my customers are asking for a sugar free party, which I am so onboard with because the feeling of handing out sweets, on top of sweets, on top of cake, on top of party bag sweets and so on, is just a huuuge sugar fest! So we often suggest cake alternatives and next week we'll be sharing a few ideas starting with this beauty - The Watermelon Cake! You can still decorate it beautifully, with the use of a few cocktail sticks and berry fruits you can have fruit cascading down it, or a three tier cake with watermelon, melon and pineapple, or even go ahead and buttercream ice it with a few turrets on top - the list is endless and is equally as stunning. Let me know your thoughts ... are you open to the idea or is a party only a party with a birthday cake 😊
