LAST ORDERS
It is with great sadness that I am calling time at POPS. It was a decision i was hopping I would not have to make but over the last year or so it has become evident things are not going to change.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the years.
We will get to 36 but only just as mum and dad opened POPS on the 13th June 1988 and we will be closing 29th June 2024.
If there is anything you need please come in before this as we will be running down stock levels.
Mum and dad ran POPS for 14 years and I took over in July 2002, we both had a lot of ups and downs and strange times (2020) over the years but managed to get through them with the great customers we have.
I started working for POPS in May 1994 in Gloucester,over the years I have made some great memories and friends which I will be forever grateful.

Just trying out the new Keg King Unitank, ferment and dispense all in one. I will be getting S30 regulator so no need for a new gas system and taps to use with these.

NEW OPENING TIMES

As from the 5th September I will only be opening on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10-00 till 5-00.

Over the past 6 months or so I have seen a down turn in turnover but huge increase in costs at the shop and at home just like everyone else has.

Last weekend a great friend of mine from INFERNO BREWERY got In touch to see if I could help him out at the brewery for a couple of days a week as he is so busy.

For me this is a win win, I get to brew great beer and gain experience brewing on a much larger scale (500 litres) and the money will help me keep the shop going in these very difficult times which all small local shops, not just me are having all over the high street at the moment.

I would like to thank all my customers for their support they have given me especially over the last couple of years and hope to see you all on the days we are open and apologise for any inconvenience this may course.

From the 12th April we will be back open 5 days a week 10.00 till 5.00. Closed as normal on Thursdays and Sundays.
We will still only be able to have one customer at a time in the shop so please keep 2 meters apart out side, masks must be worn and we have hand sanitizer for you to use.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 12 months, its not been easy with stock issues and lockdowns but hopefully our lives will get back to some sort of normal soon.
