A lovely Christmas drinks event yesterday! Very much kept in the family with my kids serving the canapés and my husband serving the drinks and probably a few sore heads like a pro!!

This is a gooey chocolate fudge cake with 4 layers of sponge and vanilla buttercream with mermaid themed decoration.
Fun to make, great to look at and delicious to eat!

Simple lemon cake, lemon sugar syrup through the sponge and the zest is used through the buttercream. Sharp and sweet, delicious!

Sometimes simple is just better! A beautiful 3 layer victoria sponge, jam centre with a vanilla buttercream and fresh fruit topping. And this cakes a whopper!!
I hope the recipient loves it as much as I do!

Well Sunday was rather lovely, I had the pleasure of catering a Holy Communion for some friends.
They held a fabulous gathering at their home and I fed and watered them all along side the fabulous
They feasted on shredded lamb, chicken and plenty of salads all followed up with Eton mess and Brownies.

It’s always a pleasure to make a wedding cake for people but it’s an honour to make one for friends! And get the chance to eat some!
