What a beautiful day here in Wales!

As we come to the end of Dahlia season at the flower farm, I’ve been reflecting on this years flowers. They didn’t quite live up to last year’s blooms but every season is different I guess. There’s various factors and I’m looking into how I can improve next year!

But for now I’m concentrating on my Spring flowers and getting all the seeds planted 🌱

I really loved making this basket of seasonal blooms for a customer & they were all grown at our flower farm in Chepstow. A little different from a bouquet it feels like a mini garden full of colour and life.

As the blooms start to fade and the days grow shorter we’re slowing down here at the flower farm, but our work is far from over.🍂🌱 we’re busy sowing seeds that will bring Spring to life. Nature’s rhythm never stops.

The sun has been shining here for the last couple of days & we have another beautiful day today.

Good morning & happy weekend!

We have a busy weekend at the Flower Farm as we start our Autumn sowing of Sweet Peas. We will be growing all of our usual varieties and also some new ones for our VIP (Very Important Petals!) weddings.

This is a service that we offer where we grow wedding flowers for our couples who have chosen us to flower their very special day 🤍 We still have availability for you if you’re planning a wedding next year so please do get in touch & also feel free to tag a bride who’s getting married who you think would love her flowers made that little bit extra special 🤍

Hello Monday! Where did that weekend go? Wasn’t the weather gorgeous !? ☀️

We started Saturday off at The Flower Barn meeting a lovely couple to chat all things flowery for their gorgeous wedding next summer. They’ve chosen our VIP service (Very Important Petals!) which is very exciting.

Then it was up to the farm to do the dreaded weeding! It’s relentless up there at the moment but so satisfying when it’s all done😊
