After raising an incredible £15,517 for LATCH Welsh Children's Cancer Charity last year the Unibet Racing Welsh Jump Jockeys' Derby is back for 2024!

We're delighted to be supporting LATCH once again, to support the incredible work they do to help the families of children suffering with cancer, including that of Betsy Williams, daughter of the Welsh trainer Christian Williams.

Our Welsh Jockeys were given the task of beating the success of last year's video however.. this is what they sent us..

Just 3 weeks to Day One of the Unibet Jump Season Opener - in 1997 Philip Hide, clerk of the course at our sister track Fontwell Park, rode Boardroom Shuffle to victory in the feature race, the £50,000 Persian War Novices’ Hurdle. Trainer was the legendary Josh Gifford.

Four weeks today it’s Day One of the Unibet Jump Season Opener with the feature race the £50,000 Persian War Novices’ Hurdle won 3 times in the late 70s/early 80s by the one and only John Francome.

We’d like to reassure you that Chepstow racecourse, as the venue for the event but not the organiser, have been in touch with the 3rd party events company that hired the venue for the event to pass on the complaints received.
