July was another busy month for Elsie, dominated by ‘End of Year 6’ celebrations, weddings and Anniversaries and Li’l Elsie started August with a wedding at beautiful Offley Place in Hitchin.

June has been a busy month for Elsie - weddings, village fetes, school events, Proms in the Quad at Berkhamsted - a firm favourite - and today Li’l Elsie ended the month at Woodrow High House Summer Fun Day! It’s been a blast! Bring on July.

Ashley Green Village Fair last weekend and despite the lack of sunshine, the children didn’t let us down and ice cream was served!

Elsie arrived in her new home about 3 weeks ago. For those of you who do not know, Hilary was looking to sell Elsie as she felt the time was right. So I bought her! My name is Jo and Elsie is now living with me in Bellingdon, just outside Chesham. She is now in hibernation for the winter - although it is feeling much more like Summer now than it did in July and August - but will be resurfacing next Spring so if you are looking for a vintage ice cream van for a party, wedding or event, my plan is to carry on exactly as Hilary left off! So please get in touch. I also have Li'l Elsie, who is not in hibernation, should you want a ice cream bicycle over the winter!

Another sunny weekend in Elsie !! With two of my annual favourites - the interschool football tournament St. Thomas Moore Primary School and Proms in the Quad Berkhamsted School and a lovely day on Saturday at an event for War Vets day organised by Luther Blissett (great walking football and tug of war!)!

Warning - proud mumma alert!!! Just been to Alfie’s degree final film showing at the BFI on london south bank…. 25+ films and Alfie’s won 4/7 awards it was eligible for and was runner up in 2 more !!! So so so proud of my baby boy!!!

Last event of the year - we’re off to The Hospice of St Francis Garden a party at Ashridge House.
There is a book if remembrance there for our amazing Queen
But also bring your dogs for the dog show! (Even if they aren’t Corgi’s)
