At the end of May I was asked to create some funeral flowers. A job I had to get right. This lovely lady was being laid to rest in some beautiful gardens in Durham City and her daughter wanted natural looking bouquet that could be brought home to be placed in a vase to remember her by. Such a lovely idea.
I used a mixture of silk and dried flowers in purple tones and greenery. Including thistles, peonies, poppy heads, ruscus and eucalyptus. Understated yet beautiful.

So we’re getting our living room fully decked out in the next few weeks and I sold my old bureau. Upon emptying it I found my first order book with my very first orders in it. I’m gonna tag my first ten customers and will see how many are still my regulars. There’s actually quite alot!
The order book also has the name in the front of my business. It’s not personalised but bought from sainsburys one day prior to me starting PBB. I was writing ideas down in it, not having a clue what to call it, then I closed it and bam! There it was staring me right in the face!
