Sitting this morning sending emails out to people who have enquired to inform them that unfortunately their date is now fully booked - some only enquired over the weekend.

1st, 2nd and 8th November is my only weekend availability THIS YEAR so you do need to get in quick.

I don't reserve dates without a deposit but it does help me keep track if anyone was to cancel/postpone then your date may become available.

Most enquiries I get I am already fully booked, but do try and help where possible - just let me know if it is not for you, I don't take offence

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that FACT was the victim of a serious break in on Thursday night this week.
💔IRO £60,000 worth of damage has been caused in our new support centre. From IT equipment, carpets, doors off hinges, furniture and structural damage where they have ripped plasterwork off the walls and broken up through our roof tiles.
😢They have damaged and contaminated food for our Kindness Kits, toys towards our Christmas Appeal, wigs, mastectomy wear, prosthesis, our information leaflets, crockery, catering equipment, donations of raffle prizes and clothes etc for our charity shop, and so much more.
💔For the first time in 16 years we have had to suspend our services while we clean up and make repairs. Even covid didn’t stop us!
🤞We hope to reopen in some way on Wednesday but this will take us a very long time to recover from and to begin to repair and replace our building, equipment and resources.
🙏The perpetrators have been arrested and charged and we want to thank the police, fire service and Advance Fire & Security for their swift response as this could have been even worse.
❤️We will be putting out details of items we need help to replace over the coming days and if you can help to replace them please let us know.

Well, yesterday I was proved wrong - not often that happens 🤣🤣

Betting was set at £2 instead of £1 with fantastic results - maybe something to consider more often ?

The choice is yours, I always advise on £1 per bet, but then £1 is worth a lot lot less than when I started this !

Many people wonder what happens at a race night, well why not pop along to one and find out for yourself.

This is a fantastic charity (and organisers a little crazy) with a great night in store.

Bit of a harsh post - however attendance figures are something which are totally out of my control

I supply posters, can give advice but ultimately I can’t control how many will attend a night

Consequently I have to stick by my t&c when it comes to cancellations due to low attendee figures

Thankfully, this happens once in a blue moon, however in the past did have people taking advantage, hence why I’ve to be strict now and had to tighten up my t&c

I have tried saying to my mortgage company ‘sorry I can’t afford to pay you but a race night has to cancel’ but they wouldn’t accept that excuse lol.

If possible I will help but ultimately can’t be left out of pocket.
