I seem to spend a lot of time chasing people who have booked for their booking form and deposit, only for them to ghost me for some strange reason.

If this is you, please just email, text, ring, to let me know if you no longer wish to go ahead.

I am always conscious about cancelling bookings that do this as understand sometimes things get in the way, but can't continue to spend time, and possible lose bookings, because of this. Strictly speaking I allow 48 hours for the booking form to be completed, which I may have to be stricter with.

It is only a few people a year, but the time taken and possible losses mount up - all for the sake of a simple 'we no longer want to go ahead' message !!

Well, I have managed to hold off for a while, but I am afraid from 1st September I will be increasing my prices – even something simple like posting a Race Night pack will cost over 4x as much as 5 years ago.

However, as well as giving plenty of warning, what I am also doing is honouring my current price, no matter when you are holding your Race Night, so long as it is booked in and deposit paid BEFORE 1st September – so yes you can hold your night anytime, so long as it is booked in and deposit paid.

Don’t think I can say fairer than that !

THIS IS NOT A MARKETING PLOY !!!

The past few days have seen bookings really pick up. In all honesty it has caught me on the hop a bit as it usually happens in the next week or two.

You can see by my availability calendar just how busy it is.

On top of this, from 1st September I will be increasing my prices – let’s face it, everything continues to go up in price. However, get booked in before then (even if your date is after that) and I will only charge you my current fee.

There is so much more to my nights than simply watching horse racing (unless of course that is what you want)

IMPORTANT NOTICE

I’ve a few bookings who have booked, couple before Xmas, and despite reminders the booking form and deposit payment hasn’t been completed.

Numerous reminders have been sent but no reply, so I’ve now cancelled these bookings.

Officially I only hold dates for 48 hours for the form to be returned and deposit paid.

If you haven’t completed a form, paid your deposit and received your race night pack in the post then I’m afraid you aren’t booked in.

Enquiries and bookings are crazy at this time of year so I’ve got to be really strict I’m afraid.
