Only 2 more sleeps to go! And we are so close to rubys goal. Please help her to smash it right out of the park 🙏😊 After todays cake sale, Ruby has raised another £37 for the little Princess trust. Thank you to Everyone who helped and supported ruby, not just today but since we started this fundraising. Every bit of support in any shape or form, is hugely appreciated Xx

Hi Everyone,

My name is Ruby and i am 8 years old.

I decided i wanted to grow my hair and cut it off for charity a little under two years ago. The idea came when my Great Nana Pumpkin was diagnosed with breast cancer and then underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This was upsetting for me and my family as my nan lost a lot of weight, became very poorly and lost all of her hair. I wanted to make my nan feel better and offered to cut my hair off for her to have instead. As much as i insisted, my nan gratefully declined and it was then that the idea came. My nana told me there was young children who were just like her and very poorly with cancer and going through treatment. I then decided i wanted to take very good care of my hair, taking my vitamins every day and using very good conditioning products to promote the health and length of my hair. Then I could raise money by getting sponsors before finally getting the chop. Not only could i then provide a wig for a child but also the money raised can go towards funding research to help beat cancer and find more treatments.

My Goal is to try and raise £250, however I would absolutely love to go above and beyond that if I can. My Nan has beaten her Cancer and i want to make her even prouder by smashing my goal. Every little bit will help towards me doing that.

So please Donate and share as far and wide as possible before Saturday 6th May when I will be getting the big chop. In the meantime i will post pictures and videos of the progress of my hair and any other charitable things i get involved in.

Thank so much in advance for all your future donations and support.
