Our first proper year as Dirtbag Entertainment has absolutely flown… 😮‍💨😅

We’ve thrown everything at it and continue to do so. Big things are on the horizon! 🫡🔥

In particular we really want to thank our amazing bands and musicians. We started Dirtbag with a clear ethos of how we wanted to treat our bands, and only working with the best of the best out there. As musicians ourselves, we know how important that is. You guys are seriously SMASHING the gigs and it’s so ace seeing that week after week! 🖤

So many couples have also put their trust in us to help them find their dream entertainment, and that means a lot! It’s just the two of us that run things here at Dirtbag so we are honestly super grateful for the support. Next year is looking stacked for our bands being out there on the frontline, doing what they do best! Cannot wait. 🙏

🎤 Who is Dirtbag Entertainment?! 🎤

So we get emails and DMs all the time saying stuff like, “I’d love to speak to your event team!” or “Hi, Dirtbag Entertainment Team!”… which kind of make us laugh because here’s the thing… there IS no team.

No big office, no massive staff. It’s just us. Matt & Joey. 🤘⚡️

We’re the ones responding to your messages (most of the time on our phones while being on the move!), and when we’re not managing Dirtbag Entertainment, we’re on the frontline gigging ourselves as founders of 🩷🩷

Our “office” these days is wherever we can make it. Our cars on the way home from gigs, backstage at a venue, coffee shops in city centers during the weekdays and sometimes our homes. We’ve got used to working unconventional hours due to unconventional lifestyles! Performing around 90-100 gigs a year means that you have to do things a little differently 😝

Since launching just under a year ago, this whole thing has grown quicker than we could have ever imagined… we only work with the best bands out there. Bands that get it. And we hope it shows that we put absolutely everything into making sure your events and weddings are unforgettable! 🔥🔥

So whilst we may not be a massive company in suits and ties, know that we are all in. A lot of you have met us face to face at wedding fairs, showcase nights and even gigs and we like to think it comes across if you have met us! But you haven’t, just know that Dirtbag Entertainment has a driving force behind it of 2 people who live and breathe live music! 🎸🤘

We’re honestly blown away by the incredible turn out for last night. Our first-ever showcase night for and you guys packed the place out! 🤯💛

It’s hard to believe we’re still in our first year at Dirtbag Entertainment, but seeing so many of you show up in waves to support what we’re building here is just insane. It truly feels like we’ve found our people! 🤘🔥

A massive shout out to our awesome line up of Sundown, and for representing last night, as well as the awesome for being amazing throughout ⚡️
