From Manchester To Grangemouth… 📍 🚛

A marquee we erected over 20 years ago, taken down in Manchester, transported to Scotland and built again at International Timbers, Scottish site.

Our team have worked incredibly hard this week to build and clad our 20m x 50m marquee on 4m legs, ensuring each piece was put together and reclad for extra durability.

The Wynnstay Hunt Ball does Apres Ski! ⛷️🪩💃

Tasked with creating a ball fit for over 200 guests, we used the widest of the Clearspan Marquee range; a 15m x 30m to create the main area and linked a smaller 12x27m for the entrance and dance floor area.

We also supplied all of the furniture, staging, dance floor, lighting, toilets and heating to ensure the full party package for our client and tied it all together with electric blue carpet! ⚡️

New for 2025, Clawdd Offa Farm in Penyffordd, hosts the North Wales Outdoor Wedding show.

We will have a range of our marquees on show, meaning you can visualise different marquee options, including furniture, lighting and accessories and discuss options with the team. This is your opportunity to see our marquees ready built and visualise just how your special day could look.

The rain is pouring here at the Penyffordd HQ, but did you know a bit of rain really doesn't have to stop your plans?!

Here's an example of a beautiful outdoor area we created in the middle of Chester Zoo, where we supplied our fully clear, Clearspan Marquee for the Zoofest party.
Our unpredictable weather meant the party would go ahead come rain or come shine, and provided a bigger outdoor area to socialise, utilising the Zoo's courtyard.

Could this be our oldest, still-standing marquee ever?!

A week in Manchester later and the team have successfully dismantled a marquee we put up over 20 years ago, back in 2004!

This was one of our first industrial buildings and we had the pleasure of returning to dismantle it, ready to ship up to Scotland for it to be fully erected again.

With this year marking 30 years for Tents & Events, it was nostalgic returning to one of our jobs from along the way.

First Aid Training ✔️

This week, 10 of our employees took part in Emergency First Aid Training with The Hive Collaborative where we learnt all about First Aid including CPR, using a defibrillator, choking, burns and minor injuries.

A huge thank you to Emma and we’re pleased to say we all passed 👏🏼💯

It’s been a fantastic 12 months here at Tents and Events and we’ve worked on a whole host of events, from garden parties, to large corporate events and beautiful wedding parties!

In no particular order, here’s just a few of our favourite moments:

⚽️ Built our marquees at the new Wrexham AFC Fan Zone, we were also joined by our sister company with 8 of our chalets too!
🎪 We purchased a new marquee – The Aurora Sailcloth
🌸 Hosted our Spring Wedding Fayre at Clawdd Offa Farm
🎤 Spot our marquee at Anfield – Okay, okay... just outside, but still we could technically wave to Taylor Swift?!
🤍 A beautiful wedding installation on the Wirral by our dedicated wedding and luxury events team, Skye Marquees.
🍔 The boss got the BBQ out and we enjoyed the little of the sunny weather between installations!
✨ We had multiple 15m marquees all out at the same time – And for any of those not familiar with Marquees… that’s a lot of build and a lot of marquee!
🪩Festival season – With over 350+ chalets out at festivals up and down the country
🐴 Double racecourse weekend with Chester and Bangor-On- Dee marquee creations
💼 The team got all new kit bags and tools and look how happy they are!
🎉 Installed lots of marquees in customers gardens, creating parties and celebrations.
🧼Our marquee cleaning machine got to work
🎤Hosted our ‘Spring Series’ with action packed behind the scenes on Tik Tok.
🚛Upgraded some of the fleet and had them branded up
🔒The team tried to escape at Escapism for an action packed team building day!
📝Attended site visits and planned 2025 and beyond…!
👷‍♂️Tarmacked the driveway to Clawdd Offa Farm
🌟Stepped in last minute at the Hawarden Estate to create a wedding with just 2 days to go. We technically saved the day, but it’s nothing, honestly!
🗣 And of course, the ultimate one liner by Liam explaining exactly what we do best – ‘Build Tents….. For Events’

What a difference some hard work, a 15 metre frame, furniture and a sparkly roof makes!

Last week, our team transformed the rear of the Ramada Hotel in Wrexham to create a fully-framed marquee in just 3 days. Our Clearspan style, 15m x 24m marquee was built by the team, then lined, carpeted and had furniture added, ready for a Christmas function.

The Portmeirion Food & Craft Fair begins today 🥧🎁🎄🌟

We are back at the beautiful Italian village in the heart of North Wales for their annual food and craft fair, featuring Welsh produce, Artisan Crafts and Unique Gifts ✨

We have supplied multiple marquees, including 6m x 21m frames with walls, 3m x 6m marquees and 9m x 9m marquees, in addition to furniture and lighting.

The Anwyl Homes Christmas Light switch on ✨🏡🎄

Our Clearspan marquee made its way to the Summer Bridge sales & development centre for their Christmas showcase and was home to choir 🎶

We installed a 6 x 9m marquee with interlocking solid floor, carpet and festoon lights for that extra bit of Christmas cheer!

Kings School Annual Leavers 24 💫 We are thrilled to have supplied our marquee to mark the end of the 2023-24 academic year at @thekingsschoolchester.
