Look at that fabulous December golden hour light

Was so excited to receive these photos from of the lovely Megan and Craig.

Megan chose a cascading shower bouquet of white roses with hints of deep red, keeping it festive and wintery. A matching buttonhole for Craig and gypsophila bouquets for the maids

Pretty bud vases were used to accent the banquet tables in the tee-pee at Shiningford Manor at Carsington.

Soft pink roses, white avalanche roses, astilbe, astrantia and finished with sprigs of eucalyptus.

How is it September already? This year has flown by and I have so many beautiful weddings and events to share. Personally I am a private person and don't share too much online so when it comes to the business socials I often take the photos and forget to post them! Hopefully now the wedding season has begun to slow I will get into a more consistent routine.

Today I am sharing this stunning backdrop created at Shiningford Manor, Carsington.
I created a split arch design for outside the tee-pee consisting of hydrangeas, roses, foliage and pampas grass.

I will be at Cuckney House today.. the fayre is on 10am-3pm, and it's been an honour to decorate the ceremony room, entrance hall, and bar.

You will find me in the marque if you would like to talk all things flowers and decor Sadly, I can only be there in person until 12.30 .

🎄 Christmas Closure 🎄

Silver Sixpence will be closed for Christmas from 16th December to January 2nd, 2024. Our team is taking a well-deserved break to celebrate and recharge. We'll be back, refreshed and ready to create more magic on January 3rd, 2024.

🌿🌸Hello! I thought it was about time I showed my face. I really don't like having my photo taken. Big thank you to the magic of EKR Pictures for capturing these photos of me and my business partner Ivy (not that she does much as chief treat counter!)

So here are a few things about me:
🌿 I trained as a florist 9 years ago after a career change
🌸 I was born and lived in Chesterfield, Derbyshire my whole life
🌿 I love the Peak District and taking my crazy spaniel for a walk
🌸 My favourite flowers are stocks and tulips
🌿 My drink of choice is a nice big cup of tea
🌸 I also own and run a highstreet flower shop
🌿 Wedding flowers are my speciality
