This cake is a little different to my normal style, to say the least. It was for my daughter's 40th birthday yesterday. I asked for her design preferences only to be told that she doesn't really like cake and would be happy with a candle in a doughnut. Be careful what you wish for next time, Sarah! The central cake is doughnut shaped, complete with central hole, and is topped and surrounded by doughnuts. Suffice to say, she enjoyed it and her daughters thought it was mega. So pleased you had a lovely birthday.
