Thank you to Ash & Paul for having us back, for another food & wine pairing event this week 🍷🧀

The brief was wines from South Africa, California and Australia “What a mix”

I took inspiration from South Africa’s palate with some smoked and barrel aged cheese, spicy and sweet chutney, tropical fruits and biltong

Then a hint of California with American cheese & cured meat

Finishing off with some fresh fruits, olives and pickles for the Australian touch 😋

We went in with smoked meats, pickled vegetables, creamy cheeses and it was 🤤

So we laid on the food pairing to fit the stunning wines on offer at another of wine tasting events

Pan Con Tomate

Spanish omelette

Pardon peppers & smoked salt

Bronzed Spanish olives

Matured Serrano ham

Manchego cheese

Roasted Maize Kernels

Crisp breads
