‘Working with plants is relaxing isn’t it? Do you find it relieves stresses and worries for you?’ 🪴 Pondering this question someone asked me a few weeks ago and my answer is absolutely yes! 🙌 Much like there is therapeutic properties of growing and gardening, the same applies when working with house plants and succulents too. So that got me wondering…What does that mean for me? 🤔 For me, it’s the creativity, focus and productivity working with plants brings. Being able to pause any worries or life happenings and becoming emersed in the messy world of soil, sand and greenery. I find it an incredible therapeutic, creative outlet! I love adding in elements to my creations that create different styles and evoke memories. ✨It’s nostalgic, sentimental and evokes special memories and I find some people also see that same vision, find it relatable or make their own connection to a special memory they have. 💭 This Tropical Seascape Terrarium was inspired by our honeymoon on the Coron Islands, Philippines. 🐠 Does this particular creation evoke any memories for you? Did you know there’s over 600 different species of Tillandsia (Air Plant)?! 🌱 Take a look at these beautiful varieties! We’ve got pink, yellow, green, purple, prickly, hairy, curly…You name it! Tillandsia form the largest genus in the Bromeliad (Bromeliaceae, the pineapple family) plant family! Yep that’s right, Air Plants are actually close cousins to the pineapple plant! How cool is that?🍍

Friday night fun at a Seaside Jungle workshop! 🌱 We’ve received some lovely feedback on our workshops recently which has been so lovely! Did you notice I’m a huge perfectionist? It’s both a blessing and a curse! 🤣🌱 This is a little look at how I (Kerri) organise our workshop apple crates ready for you lovely people to pick your faves! Ok so there’s no method, no guide and particular order…There doesn’t need to be, they’re just plants! Cute little plants…But still it MUST look how I envisioned it and be as ✨aesthetic✨ as possible! 😂 Now this is just the plants…Imagine what I’m like when it comes to cleaning the glass vessels, boxing them up, making up the soil mix and filling all the trays of stones, decorations, bits and bobs. And then loading the van is a whole game of Tetris in itself…It’s certainly a fun process! 😅 Organisation is key! 😉 Is anyone else a perfectionist when it comes to preparation? ✅
