Persian Supper Club is back!

It’s been such a busy year of events that I haven’t managed to fit a supper club in for aaages….but we are back with 1 night of delicious food.

If you’re looking to buy the foodie in your family a great experience for Christmas instead of another pair of socks then here’s a great night for you!

Held at New Park Studio in Chichester, our intimate evening of Persian food is a lovely and relaxing way to try a cuisine you maybe don’t know, or to eat food you already know you love but can’t find anywhere locally.

£40 per person for a 3 course sharing feast, including a glass of bubbles and canapés, it’s a deal better than Dominos offers!

Food is all cooked by Maryam who brings her knowledge and experience of food from her home country of Iran to share with us.

It’s time to celebrate A&E on the grid ❤️

What a day! This pair came to me when they had planned a few bits but had then got a bit stuck! With family links to the perfect golf course venue and excitement over their photography, food and flower plans, they just needed someone to tie the day together for them. And they needed a team to deliver on the all important espresso martinis!

Working with A & E was a delight the entire way through. They trusted in me, I guided them and ultimately their day was just beautiful. The weather wasn’t always on our side but it didn’t matter, the day was impeccable.

One of my favourite bits of my job is getting to meet all the family and friends, these guys had some of the best! The party was something else!

Exactly the feeling you get when you marry someone just as wild as you.

F & G made working with them a lovely experience and it was beautiful seeing them celebrate with their bests.

It’s time for L & C’s day on the grid. I’m not sure I have enough words to truly share how incredible these two were to work with, simply the most fun, relaxed, trusting couple who I had the absolute pleasure to work with planning their beach wedding at L’s family home.

From the first meeting our shared love for travel, passion for fun and enthusiasm to try anything & to work with new and established local suppliers meant we just clicked.

I have loved spending the year planning with them. Honestly made friends who I want to keep following and hearing about their next adventures.

Their day was to be on the beach and we were so lucky to be able to deliver that plan (thanks UK weather)! Plenty of DIY touches, a dash of seaside prop fun and cricket at sunset made for the best day.

Time to celebrate these two ❤️

Never have I worked with a more calm couple, every step of the way J was so encouraging and her trust in what I would deliver for them was beyond what I would ever would expect.

Little H was just so gorgeous, such a well mannered and friendly boy and so excited for the day, he wins my ‘Best kid at a wedding’ award for 2024 😂🥰

Keeping it simple was the aim here. Making the most of the incredible venue and simply styling with green and white florals. 🍃

What to do if it rains on your wedding day? ☔️

Firstly, take a breath. It’s ok to be disappointed, you probably hoped for gorgeous sunshine so let yourself be sad for a moment or two. 😔

Next, it’s time to remember what your day is about and why you are doing it. Hopefully that brings a smile back to your face 🥰

Be prepared from the outset, work with your suppliers and make sure you still step back and enjoy the day. Trust us, we will work so hard to make your day perfect, wet or dry!

I’m certain many well wishers will tell you so but, as the story goes, rain is good luck and signifies a long marriage. Why? Because a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to undo so when you ‘tie the knot’ on a rainy day then your marriage is entwined perfectly.

It’s time to celebrate these fabulous humans and their day. I met F&G at a wedding fair and after giving 1 small planning tip, they called to book ❤️

These guys were already super organised but needed a bit of a hand with a tricky venue, a bit of styling and pulling their day together.

When you dreamt of your perfect wedding in the Scottish countryside did it look a bit like this?

Speeches……who should do them and when? 🥂

Just remember, there are no rules. It’s entirely up to you how, who, when and if speeches even happen.

One of my favourite things I’ve seen popping up recently is having the first speech to close the cocktail hour or reception drinks. It’s a lovely way to start your wedding breakfast and a great way to call your guests in to be seated. 🌸

Personally, I am all about the couple both making a speech. Why should one get to tell all the stories?! 🎤

Family struggles and difficult relationships often mean that the traditional speeches aren’t what a couple desires or they aren’t able to have them. This is not uncommon, if it’s not what you need in your day then don’t do it. Perhaps, if you want to give someone a role but a speech feels too large, you could ask them to do a toast or manage your photographer’s call list. 📷

All in all, if you’re planning to have speeches, make sure you’re comfortable with who is making them and remember to make your own traditions, it’s your day! 💜🩷❤️
