Faded florals. Wedding orders are increasing as smaller ceremonies are happily going ahead. I have been doing dried flowers alongside fresh for a few years now but are a such great easy choice for relaxed garden feels, smaller ceremonies or hastily rearranged dates. I have items ready to buy with shipment typically only 1/2 weeks, endless custom options, no booking commitments, date fexibility and that I can still offer 11 years of florist advice.

I have just dropped my middle one to school. All the year 6 children are getting on with it with a maturity and ability that some adults during this epidemic could emulate.
I am still taking dried flower custom orders and wedding bookings, lead times are still a lite longer while I continue to homeschool. Emails will sometimes take a extra few days to reply to. More dried flower ready to buy items will be added to my shops in the coming weeks.

Today I should of been arms deep in a beautiful selection of seasonal blooms off on my way to deliver and set up at a local countryside wedding venue. Unfortunately it's not to be so consoling with a previous may wedding, heaps of dried flowers and the promise of fresh flowers to come.

The slight easing of lockdown restrictions is throwing up all kinds of new challenges. Working from home, childcare, back to school or not, returning to work, those who havent stopped working, being safe at work, re working of businesses in hospitality, income dropping, making future plans and so on. If one of your only problems is being bored then you are extremely lucky 🌸🌿

I love how wild flowers can be a true reflection of your wider location, climate and specific conditions. These little snippets gathered on our walk near my house which is a mixture of hedgerows and woods. The flower geek in me loves getting home and looking them up in my book and adding their latin names as so many are know by their brilliant old common names.

No wedding bouquets to make but the occasional dried bunch of happy birthday, I miss you or stay well. This custom scented bouquet of Eucalyptus, Lavender, Roses, Statice, Wheat, Phalaris, Oats and Acroclinium will last a good few years and can be free standing or displayed in a vase. A scented mini posy from the garden, with Mint, Stocks, Lobelia and Alyssum. Just enough to put in a mini bottle on my bedside table and enjoy the smell for a few days. I've planted tons of Poppies, Sweet Peas and Marigolds and also have some Potatoes, Radish, Basil and Chillies on the go. Such a simple happiness to grow your own flowers and vegetables from seed 🌱🌼
