Hey, we’re Adam & Kelly 👋
the faces behind A|K|R Ventures (you might know us as The Wheatsheaf Kitchen).

After travelling and living abroad for years, we came home with one big goal to do something we truly love.

Back in March 2020, when the world shut down, we launched a takeaway pizza service out of the Wheatsheaf Pub, Chinnor, Oxfordshire. What began as a way to feed our local community quickly grew. The demand was real.

When pubs and restaurants re-opened, we expanded our menu (hello burgers, ribs, fish & chips, and Sunday roasts).

Then in October 2022, we decided to focus on what we really love, wood-fired pizzas. We traded the pub life for a converted horse trailer.

Now… you’ll be seeing us (and our pizzas) from our brand new van!

No problem, we will always have a veggie option on our menu and vegan cheese for those who need so all can join the pizza party 🎉

We are thrilled to say that Amelie is now a full time member of the A|K|R family ❤️

Many of you will recognise her as she has been with us for nearly four year now providing endless laugher and smiles - we could not be happier 😁
