Today, I had the joy of helping Georgina & Domenico celebrate their love in the most beautiful, intimate ceremony in the bride’s family garden. 🌿✨

Their day was filled with heartfelt touches — readings in both Italian & English, a ring warming, and vows spoken straight from the heart. A wedding ceremomy that was truly theirs, full of love, family, and meaning. 💍❤️

The reality? Early alarms, a travel tea, and today — a coach to London to meet two brilliant humans who can’t wait to say “I do.”

Being a celebrant is more than sticking on a pretty dress and standing at the end of an aisle with a folder. It’s the planning, the listening, the laughter… and the joy of helping create a moment they’ll never forget. 💛

✨ A Little Note About Using Sites Like Bark & Add to Event ✨

Hey lovely humans! If you're in the middle of planning your big day and using platforms like Bark or Add to Event to find your dream suppliers - amazing! These sites can be super handy for connecting you with talented vendors in your area (and some of my gorgeous clients found me that way 🫶)

But here’s a little behind-the-scenes insight you might not know: vendors usually have to pay to respond to your enquiry. That means every time we send a quote, we’re investing in the hope of working with you.

We totally get that plans change, quotes might not be the right fit, or you might go with someone else - that's all part of the process! But if you’re not seriously looking, or don’t intend to respond to the quotes, it can really impact small businesses who are just trying to keep doing what they love.

So if you do use these platforms, a quick reply (even just a “Thanks, but we’ve gone another way!”) goes a long way. It’s never about taking things personally - we just really appreciate the kindness and clarity.

Thanks for supporting small wedding businesses 💛 We’re all here to make your day magical!

🌈✨ Indie’s Naming Day ✨🌈

Last week, I had the absolute joy of leading a beautiful naming ceremony for the awesome little lady that is Indie 💛

With her proud parents Mark & Ellie (thank you so much for letting me share these pics!), her kick-ass guide parents, and a garden full of Indies favourite people and some floofy four-legged guests 🐾 — it was the perfect mix of meaningful and magical.

We had:
🌿 A sand blending
🖐️ Finger, paw and foot prints on the certificate
📖 A heartfelt guide parent storybook reading
👶 And a surprise pregnancy reveal that had everyone stunned before the happy tears set in! 😭💫

There were giggles, sniffles, snuggles and a little sprinkle of rain — but nothing could dampen the love in that garden.

I had the best time working with this gorgeous little family. Indie, you're already so loved 💕
