Their positive attitude, organisational skills and entrepreneurialism has resulted in a fantastic work ethic, as well as leading them to work closely alongside each other successfully for the p

Both working as Freelancers up until 2015, they decided to put their heads together about how to develop the business further and from this both Melt Productions and it's sister company Melt Bars were born. Melt Productions has been created out of a love of live events and a passion to go above and beyond peoples expectations...

✨🎄 Chippenham’s Christmas Island and Festive Fringe 2024 full programme has landed! 🎄✨

Join us on the banks of the River Avon for a spectacular Christmas celebration in Chippenham.

📅 When: Nov 28 - Dec 1
📍 Where: The Island, Monkton Park
🎟️ Entry: Free!

Enjoy family-friendly activities, gorgeous festive lighting and installations, workshops, live music, comedy, and more!

The event has been generously funded by Chippenham Town Council and produced by Melt Productions.

This free event also features an artisan market alongside some fabulous local food and drinks vendors 🍔 🍻 🌮 🥂 ☕️

Seating within the Roundhouse for all shows will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis - so be sure to arrive early! ✨🪩 🍿

✨🎄Chippenham’s Christmas Island and Festive Fringe returns for 2024!🎄✨

For the forth year running, come and experience the banks of the River Avon spectacularly lit up, bringing some wonderful Christmas cheer into the heart of Chippenham.

Situated within it’s usual spot of The Island in Monkton Park, the event will once more feature a full roster of live, festive entertainment.

With family friendly activities, workshops and performances throughout the afternoon, leading on to more adult based evening entertainment.

The event is funded by Chippenham Town Council in collaboration with Melt Productions and is a completely free experience for the local community and surrounding areas to enjoy.

Showcasing live Music and Comedy from some excellent musicians and comedians, to Film Screenings, Festive Workshops, Artisan Market stall traders and even a live Brass Band playing Christmas Carols by Candlelight!

All seating will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so please ensure you arrive nice and early if you are keen to watch any of the live shows and entertainment.

The trail will be open Thursday 28th November - Sunday 1st December (inclusive).

This years’ focal point will once again be the beautiful wooden Roundhouse, a cosy, heated wooden structure serving up delicious hot and cold drinks and tasty food from local vendors. As well as some EPIC stand out activations (watch this space!)

A perfect spot to enjoy the entertainment as well as some much needed ‘Hygee’.

It's nearly that time of year again...

Join us for fun-filled festivities from Thursday 28 November – Sunday 1 December, as we celebrate the switching on of the Town Centre Christmas lights and the beginning of the festive season, with the return of the Christmas Fringe on Island Park (produced by Melt Productions).

A family-friendly programme of free entertainment and activities will take place on Saturday 30 November to celebrate the switch-on of the Christmas Lights.

Including performances from local favourites CLOGettes, Robbie Culley and the Wiltshire Police Band, alongside interactive walkabout entertainment and children’s creative activities. The festivities will conclude with the traditional abseiling Santa and the countdown to the switch-on at 4.55pm.

The Island will be open Thursday 28 November – Sunday 1 December, with family friendly activities in the day and an adult evening programme.

For the past 4 years, we have partnered with Chippenham Town Council to produce an annual event in Chippenham Town Centre - starting with a 2021 Light Trail, to this year's Christmas Island + Festive Fringe.

Each year, the event has grown in size and we are proud to have built something for our incredible town and the communities surrounding it to enjoy.

This year, we are introducing Artisan Market Stalls to the event and we want to hear from you!🎅✨

🍂🎄It might still technically be summer, but this autumnal weather has us at Melt Productions starting to think about Christmas…🎄🍂

Are you an Artisan Market Trader? Do you sell something Christmas-related? Decorations? Gifts? Festive food items? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

Melt Productions are a creative Event Production, Management and Marketing Company based in Chippenham.

For the past 4 years, we have partnered with Chippenham Town Council to produce an annual event in Chippenham Town Centre - starting with a 2021 Light Trail, to this year's Christmas Island + Festive Fringe.

Each year, the event has grown in size and we are proud to have built something for our incredible town and the communities surrounding it to enjoy.

The event is an inclusive, free event for all to enjoy and, with a spectacular 4-day roster of activities and shows, our incredible light installations illuminating the river, a small selection of Artisan Market stalls (New for 2024!) and, of course, some spectacular food and our beloved Log Cabin Bar inside our cosy and stunning Roundhouse, we aim to offer something for everyone.

This year's festival will be running from Thursday 28th November - Sunday 1st December (inclusive), with the below live hours. Traders must be available for all 4 days.

Thursday 28th November: 16:00-19:00
Friday 29th November: 16:00-22:00
Saturday 30th November: 13:00-22:00
Sunday 1st December: 13:00-19:30

We are currently taking Expressions of Interest from traders, to see who is available and try find the most appropriate stalls for the event. Ultimately, we want each trader to succeed, so we will select those that we think will do the best with the audience we tend to attract.

Market stall spaces will be limited, with pitch fees costing £100 + VAT for the 4-day period (£25 + VAT per day).

The fee includes your pitch and festoon lighting around your tent. All tents, tables, and anything more must be provided by the Trader. If you require anything further, please add it to your 'Additional Requirements' section in your application.

Melt Productions will also require all Traders to provide an in-date RAMS and PLI before they are able to start trading.
