The Fresh Flower Company creates beautiful flowers for gifts, weddings, events, funerals and businesses. Whether it is decorating a romantic wedding venue, transforming a dining room and making it spectacular for a candlelit dinner party, or simply putting together a beautiful bunch for a client, our service, dedication and love of flowers remains constant. Since establishing The Fresh Flower Company in 2001, weddings have become a speciality of ours, through an ever growing wealth of knowledge and experience, built upon from the many weddings that we have had the pleasure of providing flowers for over the years. We have enjoyed providing wedding flowers at many fantastic venues and private marquees in the South West, particularly in Bath and the surrounding Wiltshire countryside. Hello February! A flower filled Friday 14th for all the romantics out there 💘 We will have a selection of stunning bouquets using the most beautiful blooms, available for pre-orders which can be placed online now or in person at the shop. Collection and delivery locally.
Simple seasonal bunches and single red roses for the spontaneous will be outside the shop on a first come first served basis from the 13th.

The last creation of 2024… a little festive door swag gift for a lovely customer’s cottage door, just around the corner and down the hill from us. I’ve made friends with so many customers over the years at the shop; they call in often to say hello and have a catch up. This week there has been no end of help offered with all sorts of things! We’ve had delicious mulled wine delivered to us whilst we’ve worked, and also an after work festive sherry, mince pie and a warm up by the fire at the cosy cottage down the hill. Today, friends have helped by delivering flowers and giving hugs 🥰 Oh, and there was also a unique Christmas gift - three pennies, a thruppeny bit and a sixpence (think that’s it!). This village, these people! ❤️

When we get really busy at the shop, we find ourselves speaking our own florists’ language… there is no time for proper sentences, so two to three words will do, but we all know exactly what is meant. This festive beauty is referred to as the ‘11 o’clock Bow’ and has been such a favourite of this particular customer, that she has ordered it for the past 19 years. ☺️
