Diary date!

We are hosting our annual Spring Open Day on Saturday 22nd March from 10 am until 2 pm.

The barns will be dressed for a wedding, Waters Edge Catering will be there with a selection of their delicious canapés for you to try and the Blake Hall team will be on hand to guide you around the beautiful barns, delightful accommodation and fabulous gardens or just to answer any questions.

We really looking forward to seeing you there!

A friend spotted this memorial in Sherborne Abbey. Robert and his brother Henry Bourne built the Essex Barn at Blake Hall nearly 150 years before the Capel Cures made Blake Hall their home. Their memorial (or at least an engraving of their initials) can be clearly seen in the Essex Barn.

Mendap set up in the Hay Barn at Blake Hall.

The wonderful picture window makes for a beautiful backdrop to the wedding ceremony. And the lovely, large size of the barn provides a beautiful long aisle, with seating for up to 150 guests.

The dressing room in the Old Coach House at Blake Hall. A beautiful place to get ready on your wedding day!

The Old Coach House is a very short walk from the Hay Barn (for your wedding ceremony), sleeps 7 and is available for all our brides (or grooms) for the night before their wedding.
