In my personal life I am a family man, I am married to my lovely wife Ashley and we have a little boy called Ezra. Aside from my reputation with my couples past and present, the thing I’m probably most famous for my unmistakeable Northern (Wigan) accent which I am very proud of. If I were to ask a large selection of people at random what options were available to them with regards to ‘getting marr

ied’ talking specifically about the ceremony, most people would only be aware of only two options; A religious ceremony (in a church) or a civil ceremony (At the registry office or in venue sanctioned for marriage)

Sadly with both of these options you don’t stand much chance of being able to take the reigns on your own ceremony. A celebrant led ceremony gives you the choice to celebrate whenever, wherever and however you wish. As a celebrant, I believe couples should have maximum input and choice over the words they are repeating and the promises they are making to each other, this means - there are no restrictions on content and definitely no multiple-choice vows. I can work with you to ensure your ceremony is as true to you both as possible, the beauty of a celebrant written ceremony is that we believe the finished script should be so personal it would truly reflect your personalities and sense of humour. Your script will be completely bespoke and is written in consultation with you both every step of the way, your vision and love story conveyed how you want it. My goal is to ensure you and your guests find it every bit as enjoyable to listen to as it was for me to write. The best introduction I could as for is getting to know you so if you are interested in having a celebrant to set your ceremony aside from any you’ve been to before, please get in touch to book a meeting. I only ever do one ceremony per day, so that date is exclusively yours. I can also (optionally) Host your Wedding Breakfast so the personal touch flows right through you entire day, so make sure you look into that if you haven’t considered it already. All Bookings include:

• An initial meeting in person, zoom or by telephone.

• All the documentation need to create and complete your personalised script.

• Access to a collection of real scripts and examples of different types of ceremonies.

• Unlimited contact with me through the entire process.

• Unlimited drafts

• Online portal with personal login to help you plan your day.

If you’re getting married Amelias Bridal is undoubtedly the best in the business, especially in the north west.

Kirsty & Graham’s day was awesome from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed the bants me and Kirsty had over WhatsApp throughout the planning.

Obviously it goes without saying writing and performing was an absolute pleasure and I’m so glad Kirsty and Graham were happy with it.. 🥹

Planning the perfect ceremony for Sharon & Ashley was such a fun process, with Sharon’s quick wit and Ashley’s laid back approach to life, it gave me a unique opportunity to write a really honest script that mirrored them as couple.

It incorporated just the right amount of lovey dovey stuff, with heavy helpings of laughter so everyone remained interested and invested in the ceremony which was exactly what they wanted. Exactly how it should be.

Aaron & Niamh tied the knot!

Well not a pysical one but we did do a ‘Ring Warming Ceremony’. They couldn’t have asked for a better day, the sun was out and it was good vibes all round.

Such an honour to be their celebrant. A Beltin’ bunch of Wiganers in the beautiful setting of Gisburne Park!

Jess & Garry at the beautiful Ashfield House, one of two ceremony’s conducted this week.

It almost feels like me and Jess have come full circle now, she was my wedding co-ordinator when I got married so this one was a real honour!

Steve and Samantha tied the knot in Kensington on the 5th of September 2020 with a very intimate 12 guests.

I conducted a cermony for them on the 3rd of September 2022 under the gorgeous naked tipi in the picturesque valley of Gisburne Park.

Even though their Kensington wedding was very special, they decided they wanted to do it all again in the company of all the guest they wanted to celebrate with the first time round that couldn’t.

Not everyone gets the opportunity to marry the same person twice but I guess if there’s anything good to come out of covid it was it was this day. Also this time Sam finally got to wear the dress!

Drinks reception music was provided by Paddy of DFC. I also hosted the wedding breakfast as master of ceremonies and the evening entertainment was provided by DFC LIVE.

Where do I start.. what an AMAZING wedding!

Katie & Joe got married at Albert's Standish on October 1st 2022.

As a celebrant you take so much pride in writing your scripts and performing them, knowing Katie and Joe personally it was easier to write something that reflected them, I won’t lie I found myself going through all the (e)motions with them when it came to the actual day.

It was important to Katie & Joe that their ceremony incorporated traditional elements but we also made it modern and fun in its writing style and delivery.

We covered their love story as standard, hopes for the future and they even had a go at writing their own vows!

Katie and Joe also had me host the wedding breakfast, their entire day was jam packed with entertainment, personality and fun throughout!

If ever you get the chance, have an outdoor ceremony!

Infact, have as much of your wedding outside (weather depending obviously) as you can, It’s a long day to be stuck indoors in the stagnant air of a 2.5hr wedding wedding breakfast.

Also it’ll add a whole new dimension to your wedding album and your guests will appreciate the vibe especially if the sun is out..☀️
