I loved creating their extra special ceremony that included so many gorgeous elements as well as a beautiful (and a little bit mascara smudging) reading from the grooms sister 🥰

It was also fab to work with the cracking team at Holmes Mill and the brilliant Michael Chilton Photography on the day to make sure that everything ran like clockwork for these two beauts 👌

Actual photo of me clearing my email inbox earlier today after a few hectic weeks away from my office 🥵

Working for yourself is amazing... but has its drawbacks. When I was a manager in a former life I could set up a re redirect, but not anymore! I only have my cat on the pay roll and she's only useful for office cuddles, her admin skills are yet to surface 🐱

Absolutely gorgeous afternoon meeting lots of loved up couples at the Samlesbury Hall open day today 💍

Not only did I get to tell everyone about how awesome their celebrant led wedding ceremony could be but I was also surrounded by some other fabulous suppliers too 🥰

Samlesbury Hall is a truly special venue with 700 years of history! The ceremony space is absolutely breathtaking too ❤️

Yesterday, I had the honour of leading a Celebration of Life ceremony for my friend Jamie – a man who truly knew how to live life to the fullest.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a ceremony that captured Jamie’s big personality and even bigger achievements. And what a life he lived! Despite being registered blind, Jamie seemed to have a habit of collecting adventures and awards like most of us collect takeaway menus.

He was the UK’s first blind tax accountant, trained as a blind skier, trekked to Everest base camp, competed in the Invictus Games, performed at the Birmingham Hippodrome, learned to pilot a hot air balloon, and even became a stand up comedian with me! Honestly, there wasn’t much he didn’t do.

Jamie’s life also had its fair share of fancy invitations—he was often off to the House of Lords or Buckingham Palace, probably to pick up another award!

It was a privilege to celebrate such a vibrant and inspiring life. Jamie reminded all of us that life is for living, and he did just that.

It was a real honour to create and lead a beautiful celebration of life ceremony for her late husband. It was even more meaningful as he was a fellow veteran and we both started our military careers serving in the Royal Signals 🫡

To the untrained eye it might look like I'm having a lazy Sunday morning today.

I mean yes, I am chilling on my sofa in my comfies as my husband delivers me fresh cups of coffee every half hour BUT I'm actually watching 'Big Gay Wedding With Tom Allen' so I'm actually, technically 'working' 👌

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Great programme BTW. Not only is Tom organising a wedding for his friends but it also covers the incredible changes in the past 30 years in the LGBTQ landscape regarding marriage 🙌
