Same time next year Jingle All The Way - Chorley ๐๐
Yesterday was an incredible, emotional, amazing, inspirational day. We said it couldn't get bigger than 250, yesterday we had over 1400 Santas. Simply Incredible.
I am proud to confirm after our first count up we have raised over ยฃ34,000 for Derian House that is a sensational amount of money.
Jingle All The Way VIII for Derian House was our biggest and best Jingle so far. We had over 1400 Santas who chose to get out of bed and dressed in red to make a difference to support the children and families of Derian House.
We need to say thank you to some incredible people and businesses for their support yesterday.
The Support team on the roads who every single year work to keep all the Santas safe as we walk the 15 miles Jingle, you are all amazing and the event wouldn't be the same event without you all. We even had our Jingle mechanical support with Grease Monkey & Jagman.
The Santa Suit Give Out Team - As always give up their time to hand out all the suits the week prior to Jingle.
The Registration Team who work so efficiently to process all the very excited Santas.
All the Support teams for the help in every single way, from managing the Santas, providing them with refreshments as they go and generally doing anything we ask them, with no questions asked, from selling raffle tickets to handing out the medals.
We never take any of you for granted and we NEVER will, thank you all so much.

We need to say a special thank you to my 2nd wife at Jingle weekend Vicci Naylor who creates so much behind the scenes with all the balloon arches, the ribbons, registration, the support over the weekend, she really is amazing.
All the Santas who registered in record time, you really are all amazing.
The business that sponsored Jingle, we will share a full list week, but your support means so much more money goes to Derian House
All the people who either sponsored the Santas, donated a raffle prize, bought a raffle ticket, or put some money in a bucket, you are all incredible.
A massive thank you to two incredible people Leo Cliffe and Riziah who both did amazing yesterday, you are both an inspiration to many and I am so pleased we got you to the Pike.
The final thank you goes to my family Tracey Hailwood, Lauren Hailwood and Matthew. Their help and support in the months and weeks prior to Jingle is amazing and the last 48 hours before can be quite stressfull, but they never moan (well not that I can hear). People will never believe the amount of time that we put into Jingle to make everything goes as efficiently as possible. They really are first class. X
As for the weather, it may not have been blue skies all day, but it didn't rain and that is something we should always be thankful for, the man is up their looking after us every single year.
I hope we are still doing your proud mate.
For the people who seemed surprised I was doing the walk and some not quite believing me, I would say 52,000 steps and sore feet say I did every single step and more :)
Apologies if I have missed anyone, but you everyone involved in making Jingle everything it is, I want to say THANK YOU.
