Our story began when I made fabric flowers for a friend in hospital, more acceptable to hospitals than fresh flowers and a comfort in difficult times. We are now offering preserved flowers that do not need water or light and last months rather than weeks. Anne has achieved a certificate in Professional Floristry through the Judith Blacklock Flower School in London.

Her selflessness, strength and quiet determination were an inspiration to us all.

Fabfleur has supported Women for Women International since 2014 and has helped over 5 women. We exchange letters with our 'sisters' to provide them with emotional support and solidarity.

Women for Women International creates ‘sister-to-sister’ connections between isolated women in Bosnia and individual ‘sponsor sisters’ around the world.

Women are enrolled on a year-long training programme, where they build support networks and develop skills to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community.

Our story began when I made fabric flowers for a friend in hospital, more acceptable to hospitals than fresh flowers and a comfort in difficult times.

The next bouquet received a ‘ relieved welcome’ from friends who suffer from asthma (I had not appreciated how fresh flowers affected asthma sufferers !)

Fabfleur flowers are made from high-quality recycled fabrics so are safe for people with allergies to pollen or asthma sufferers. Rest assured that you can still bring the beauty of flowers into the lives of people who can't enjoy fresh flowers.

Did you know that Harris Tweed is a legally protected name and is trademarked? Harris Tweed is only made in the Outer Hebrides Islands in Northern Scotland and is still made by hand. All Harris Tweed is 100% pure wool. The wool comes from the Cheviot and Scottish Black Face Sheep only, and all of the wool is raised in the UK.

All flowers are made with pure certified Harries Tweed so we're adding a piece of Scottish history and quality to every stem.
