Always lovely to support and engage with our local retailers. Well done Vine &Co. John, Kim, James, Alison and the rest of the team hosted a wonderful wine and cheese evening. halloumi style cheese was especially delicious and made down the road in Much Wenlock! Get yours at Vine&Co. Great to see a big crowd there. We are so lucky in Church Stretton and proud to offer our guests local produce at Acton Scott Hall.

These guided farm tours are filling fast, so don’t miss out ! Reviews from everybody who have been have been outstanding and the farm is blessed with some incredibly knowledgeable and talented volunteers to interact with you on the day. Not to mention, yummy cakes. 😋

Great News that Acton Scott Heritage Farm is in such capable hands. We look forward to welcoming you, Rachel.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rachel Lambert-Jones as Director of Acton Scott Heritage Farm.

Rachel will be joining us from the Cavalier Centre which she has led since January 2020. She was responsible for fundraising, managing staff, developing programmes and all aspects of the Centre’s operation. Rachel joined the Cavalier Centre following eighteen years in arts and heritage, most recently based at Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust jointly running the regional museum development programme which supported 143 museums and galleries to improve collection care, diversify their audiences and strengthen organisational health.

She has been a museum Trustee, Curatorial Adviser and University of Birmingham Student Mentor. Rachel grew up on a small holding and is a keen horse rider.
