The programme also includes an eclectic mix of music with a smattering of Folk, Rockabilly, Jazz and Americana. Bluegrass, banjos, bikers and bonfires; it's the most fun you'll have all year!

It feels rather odd posting something to Facebook from a comfy armchair with a real keyboard and not on a phone from an airfield full of incredible music and wonderful people! The festival committee would like to thank everyone who came to Didmarton Bluegrass Festival 2024, we hope you had a fabulous weekend and will come back with your friends for Didmarton 2025. That's right folks, put the dates in your diary now, Didmarton 2025 will be 29th-31st August! To finish off the weekend coverage, here's a photograph of the clubhouse after you'd all gone home, please do come back and fill it with music again next year. There are a lot more photographs to come, but first, your phone-trombone playing Sunday emcee/webmaster/social media team, (you had to be there 😁) is going to drink a very, very large mug of tea! 😃

The committee and stewards had the most wonderful roast dinner at Goody’s Diner on site tonight, when you come next year, you must try their Sunday roast, it's fabulous! 😀

Good evening folks, the Friday evening concert is almost upon us and we understand and share your excitement about being back in the marquee with all your friends and fellow bluegrass fans and we want everyone to enjoy all the sights and sounds the concerts have to offer. With that in mind we respectfully request that all tall and wide brimmed hats are removed whilst you are in the marquee, so as not to impair the view for your fellow attendees and during the performances themselves, please respect the musicians and pause all conversations. Just think, 'No Hats, No Chats, While The Music Makes Your Toes Tap!'
