Loved how this 1st Birthday Celebration Cake turned out! The sponges were packed with fresh raspberries and white chocolate, filled and covered with silky white chocolate buttercream in green - to match the cafe colours. There were matching cupcakes too, with a raspberry jam centre 💚

So it has to be said that I am not good a pricing! Take these sausage rolls for example… There is more to it than you think, there are the raw ingredients - locally made sausages from our fabulous butcher which means a trip to Newport to collect, the actual time to make them, cook them( electricity) and package nicely. I use eco packaging from which I often forget to add into the pricing 🙈. Once all is considered I usually decide it’s too much and knock some off! I’m getting there!!!

We have had some really great feedback from recipients of our home cooked meals. The guests of Ffald y Brenin retreat order their meals in advance and they delivered in time for their stay. Other local holiday cottages also offer this service to their guests - good feedback all round.
