We have a fully stocked bar with drinks packages available for functions as well as room decor hire tailored to your celebration. The Mill House is on the banks of the Leeds - Liverpool canal in it's own private car park just off Whalley Road. There is easy access to the motorway network via the M65 leading to the M66, M61 and M6 motorways so within easy reach of nearby towns and cities such as Burnley, Blackburn, Clitheroe, Rossendale, Preston, Bolton, etc. A historic building that has been brought into the 21st century with an extensive refurbishment and redecoration programme.

It’s cocktail time! Let’s make a Christmas Cocktail! 🎄

What you’ll need:

✨ 25ml of Gin
✨ 50ml of Cranberry Juice
✨ Prosecco to top
✨ Fresh Cranberries

How to make it:

1. Stir the gin and cranberry juice with plenty of ice
2. Strain into a chilled Coupe glass
3. Top with prosecco
4. Garnish with cranberries and enjoy!

You can add a slice of dried lemon for an extra garnish ✨

Join us for a day of sewing, lots of chatter over a brew or two ☕️ and share tips and ideas for your next project. We'll also provide you with a lovely lunch with soup, sandwiches and cheescake 😋

We get together every month to share our love of sewing and busy ourselves with our latest project. Bring your own sewing machine and/or overlocker and your latest project and we'll provide a table for you to work on, a shared larger table where you can cut out your pattern and a pressing station to iron your fabric and press out any seams. We've got a swaps table where you can help yourself to anything that takes your fancy and a notions box if that's anything you may have forgotten to bring with you.

Christine - of Gemini Stitchers, along with myself and a few others will be there, working on our own projects and it's a really fun way to while away the day whilst getting something done. We have seen lots of beautiful finished garments, quilts and other sewing projects at the sewcials. What will you bring?

The cost is £25 and includes tea, coffee, water and lunch. To book, please email [email protected].
