Well here it is my first Christmas installation at Joshua Adams Menswear and the reason I’ve been so quiet. I’ve loved every second, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without me doing a window display ready for Cleckheatons light switch on tomorrow.

It means the world to us all.

After much consideration and mixed emotions, I've had to make some of the hardest decision of my life and decided to put my family first.

Following mums cancer diagnosis, it's made me realise life is too short not to enjoy every second and spend more time with my family.

So some big changes need to happen. So as from Saturday 2nd September I will be closing the doors of Papyrus.

I've love working and meeting you all over the past 20 years and can't thank you all enough for your support and custom over the years. I've made some truly amazing friends and met so many wonder people.

I'm going to still do funeral flowers via the funeral directors that we work closely with.

Occasionally I may still do florist choice specials, days and availability will be limited so be quick when you see my posts. These will be for delivery ONLY as the studio will no longer be open for collections.

But now for the best bit.......

I've been give a fantastic opportunity to return to my career of choice as a visual merchandiser. Thanks to Stephanie and Ray at Joshua Adams we will be working together to create, inspire and bring something special to Cleckheaton. Their amazing flagship store in town is a credit to them and their team but now is the right time to take it to the next level. I will be working across both stores in Cleckheaton and Ilkley helping them to create something special to wow you as you pass.

So you will still see me around just in a different location, behind the glass and hopefully creating something amazing in Cleckheaton. Exciting times and definitely the change I need.

(Now I'm going off to cry a bit more)🥲. Thank you for reading such a long post.

As many of you know I opened papyrus with my mum nearly 20 years ago. Unfortunately she's just been diagnosed with lung cancer. As a result I need to be available to care and attend hospital appointments with her.

As from tomorrow (19th June) Papyrus will be running on reduced hours and will be pre order ONLY. I will be taking orders and delivering during the day but unfortunately I can't open the studio full time. I will be here between 11am -2pm daily. All calls will be diverted to my mobile so you can order over the phone or via our website.

Due to this change in trading I can only offer florist choice designs in both tropical and vintage styles at a price point to suit.

I will post updates re hours if anything changes due to hospital appointments and treatment.

Hopefully you all understand and thank you all for your continued support during this difficult time.
