Good Morning all

Well today's the day!

DAY 1 OF BEACHSIDE CC

we are looking forward to welcoming you all.

It's set to be a warm one again, so please make sure you keep hydrated, especially if you are in cosplay.

Studio A is a cool room so please do feel free to head into there should you need to.

There are also food and drinks available to purchase throughout the day, either at the leisure centre kiosk or the wonderful traders inside and out!

Only a few days to go until Beachside Comic Con returns to Cleethorpes with a fun packed weekend!

Our scavenger hunt has also gotten an upgrade this year. We invite all our guest to go on a mission around the event to find the clues, spell out the word and correct answers will be entered into our Get Ready Raffle for a chance to win some incredible prizes kindly donated by GetReadyComics - this is included in your ticket too!

Good Afternoon

How wonderful is it to have some SUNSHINE!

Our LUXX TEAM have been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for you all for this years BEACHSIDE !

We have a few last minuite announcements to make !

Unfortunatly Due to some filiming commitments Ricky Groves will only be with us for the Saturday , but he is very much looking forward to meeting you all !

With this being said our team have worked tiredlesly to bring in a last minuite guest after the cancellation of Christopher Ryan , unfortunatly they were unable to get a human guest to join ... HOWEVER .... this hasn't stopped us from being able to provide something pretty EPIC !

We are super excited to welcome , JOHNNY 5 to Both days of Beachside CC
after all .... JOHNNY 5 IS ALIVE!

INFORMATION POST !

We are so very excited to welcome you all to Beachside Comic Con!

Preparations are well underway here at LUXX and our team are making all the necessary Preparations to bring you another amazing weekend event !

The Guy in red would like to make a few announcements.... so .... here it goes ...

*Online Tickets go off sale tomorrow night a 12pm GBT time , so quick ... best get them .... ahhhh but don't worry On the Door tickets will be available both days from 10.30am i know AMAZING right!

*Please note that when arriving those with pre booked tickets will have a separate que for checking in, one of our team / Security and also Sign posting will be there to help guide you. , yada yada yda yada... you get the picture ....

*The Leisure centre is fully accessible, if you require any assistance at all please don't hesitate in finding a member of team, they will be more than happy to help in anyway they possibly can.

* The leisure centre will still be operational and so all ticket holders will be given wristbands/hand stamp to allow them entry in and out of the event, because were nice like that and like to give you little momentos of the day ❤️

*For those who require it Lockers and Changing room facilities are available within the leisure centre, please see leisure centre reception for this, because who doesn't like a costume change !

*Autos and Photos can also be purchased on the day at the information desk once in the venue, I too am also available , just saying ....

*For any further information, Lost Children , First Aid or any other queries please make sure you speak to a member of Management at the Information stand inside the venue.

SECURITY ! (oh no)

We have a fabulous team who will be with us the weekend to make sure that all attendees , guests and all those involved stay safe whilst with us .

We take the safety of our visitors very seriously. Please co-operate fully with any security checks and support our lovely, approachable Security team as they carry out their checks throughout the day. Our lovely Security team will monitor the venue each and every day , (p.s its not the X-Men... unfortuantly ... god i miss those guys ...anywho...)

Security is everyone's responsibility, so please help us keep you safe by reporting anything that doesn't feel right to our Security and staffing teams. We will always act on your concerns.

Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of other visitors. random bag Searching and Cosplay Prop inspection will be carried out throughout the weekend. Consideration regarding Cosplay props is extremely important, so please keep this in mind.

REMEMBER ALSO COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT! - NOT COOL!
Always ask before taking photos or if you would like to interact with other fellow cosplayers , this one time ... oh man ... it was not a good day , but i digress....

There is to be no alcohol permitted into the venue
Anyone found to be in possession of anything Illegal will be refused entry into the venue, and will be reported to the Police as a matter of urgency.

SAFETY POST

please see information in regards to props!

If you are bringing a Prop, please make sure it is safe and legal to carry.
What this means is, we can not and will not allow entrance under any circumstances to any Sharply bladed article, or anything that may cause significant harm, alarm or distress to others.

All Props entering the Venue will be subject to checks by security.

Please keep in mind members of the public inside and outside the venue, who are not used to seeing these types of events taking place, or understand the meaning behind certain Cosplays/Props may mistake these for weapons

Large props are only to be wielded for photo purposes
and must be kept on person at all times.

Please makes sure that any fi****ms can clearly be seen as not real either by orange tipped or the way in which it has been painted/designed.

Bows and arrows - Bows are allowed into the venue however they must not be accompanied with working arrows , if working arrows are used then the string of the bow much be taken out.

As Always please keep prop safety in mind when attending events.
