A big thank you to all those who came to the Con Before Christmas 🎄 yesterday, we had a brilliant time with you all , so many amazing cosplays and so many fantastic memories made !

INFORMATION POST !

We are so very excited to welcome you all to The Con Before Christmas this weekend!

Things are well underway here at LUXX and our team are making all the necessary Preparations to bring you another amazing weekend event !

Please see below some information for the weekend

*Online Tickets go off sale tonight a 12pm GBT time
*On the Door tickets will be available from 10.30 am including Santa V.I.P's
*Please note that when arriving those with pre booked tickets will have a separate que for checking in, one of our team / Security and also Sign posting will be there to help guide you.
*Autos and Photos can also be purchased on the day at the information desk once in the venue.
*The Leisure centre is fully accessible, if you require any assistance at all please don't hesitate in finding a member of staff , they will be more than happy to help in anyway they possibly can.
*Please remember that the leisure centre will still be operational, all ticket holders will be given wristbands/hand stamp to allow them entry in and out of the event.
*For those who require it Lockers and Changing room are available within the leisure centre , please see leisure centre reception for this.
*For any further information, Lost Children , First Aid or any other queries please make sure you speak to a member of Management at the Information stand inside the venue.

SECURITY !
We have a fabulous team who will be with us the weekend to make sure that all attendees , guests and all those involved stay safe whilst with us .
We take the safety of our visitors very seriously. Please cooperate fully with any security checks and support our lovely, approachable Security team as they carry out their checks throughout the day. Our lovely Security team will monitor the venue each and every day,
Security is everyone's responsibility, so please help us keep you safe by reporting anything that doesn't feel right to our Security and staffing teams. We will always act on your concerns.

REMEMBER ALSO COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT!

Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of other visitors. random bag Searching and Cosplay Prop inspection will be carried out throughout the weekend. Consideration regarding Cosplay props is extremely important, so please keep this in mind.
There is to be no alcohol permitted into the venue
Anyone found to be in possession of anything Illegal will be refused entry into the venue, and will be reported to the Police as a matter of urgency.

SANTA SAYS ITS 2 DAYS TO GO !!!!

Here is a reminder of the Santa Visits and Elf Workshop

You can see Santa in his Grotto for your V.I.P visits anytime during the day from 10 am - 12.00 and 2pm till 4pm - you will be given a separate coloured wristband for this.

Santa's V.I.P visit will include a 1 to 1 meet with Santa , a gift and a 6 x 8 print out with Santa

If you have purchased Comic Con tickets and would like to do the Santa visit you only need to purchase the Child Santa V.I.P (con) ticket these are £5

For those who have con tickets and don't wish to do the V.I.P visit you can see Santa in Studio A at 1pm - 1.30pm ( This will not include the gift or photo )

If you would like to just do the Elf Workshop and Santa V.I.P without the Comic Con event you can ! With the separate wrist band it allows access to the Elf Workshop room and Santa Grotto where you can use these facilities away from the event , tickets are £6 per child and £1 per adult.

For those with Con Tickets you can access the ELF Workshop at any point in the day !

ELF WORKSHOP !

In this room you will find Santa's Elves hard at work , with lots of craft making from badges to sand art to painting your own Christmas decorations !

There is also Letter writing to Santa himself !

Unfortunately Christopher Ryan will no longer be able to attend the Weekend Due to Personal Circumstances , we wish him all the best and look forward to having him at a future event.

Good Morning Everyone !

We have been getting a few enquiries about the event, so here's a reminder of some of the FAQ's for you 🙂

* I want to do the Santa V.I.P but don't want to enter the event, can i do that ? - YES ! we have a separate wrist band which allows access to the separated Elf Workshop room and Santa Grotto where you can use these facilities away from the event , tickets for this can be found on the website and purchased on the door

* I want my child to do the V.I.P Santa , do i need to purchase another adult ticket - NO , you just need to add on the Santa V.I.P (con) ticket and your good to go !

* We don't want to do the Santa V.I.P , but would still like to see them , could we still do this? - YES ! Santa will be able to meet and greet people with con tickets in Studio A from 1pm until 1.30 pm , however we can not guarantee 1 to 1 time and there will be no presents or professional photos available

* What times are the Santa V.I.P ? - You can visit Santa anytime during the day from 10 am - 12.00 and 2 till 4 - you will be given a wristband and once used will be removed.

*My child is under 5 do i have to pay ? - No, children under 5 are FREE!

*Can i purchase Tickets on the door? - YES, absolutely you can purchase tickets on the door from 10.30am

*If i leave the event can i get back in ? - Yes , you will be given a wristband on entry which will allow you entry for the day.

*Can my child come on there own ? - No, all children must be supervised by an adult.

* Do i need to print my tickets ? - NO along as we can scan your barcode you do not need to print them.

*Do you do carers tickets? - YES, you get one free carers ticket when you purchase an adults ticket, just make sure to bring with you proof, such as pip letter, blue badge etc

*Can i purchase Photo ops at the event ? - YES ! please head to the information stand inside the venue to do this 🙂

*How much for photo's / Autos - All prices are available on our page for pre viewing, prices will also be displayed at the venue and on the guests tables.

6 DAYS TO GO !!!

Here is some local information for those who may need it 🙂

CAR PARKING
The leisure centre does have it own car park which is pay and display, the car park itself is a fair sized one, however, as the leisure centre will also be in full swing on the day there can be no guarantees that spaces will be available.

We have popped a screen shot of the car parks available close by, some of these please note are also pay and display. The part where we have circled is FREE to park, there is quite a lot of space, this is at meridian point and is about a 10 min stroll from the venue .Please also be aware that if you park in the Mc Donald's or KFC parking area, they have there own car parking system, which only allows for 90 mins park time.
If your near the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway Lakeside station which in directly opposite the FREE car park if you fancied a ride on Train then this is a must do
( Please note they have their own Prices for this and is not in connection with Luxx Events, Time Tables for this may vary)
This train will drop you off at their Kingsway station, that is directly behind the venue!
Parking is also available down the seafront this is also pay and display and a 15 min stroll....
OR
There is the Lollypop Train which picks up from THE MINT arcade, and goes all the way down to the back of the venue for a small fee.
It's not called the lolly pop train for nothing as they also give out lollypops !!:)

For those travelling by train we have also added a google map screen shot for you, The Cleethorpes station is in the heart of the seafront and approximately a 2 min walk to THE MINT for the lollypop train or 19 mins to the venue.
As Cleethorpes is a seaside town , you will find lots of fun along the way from the beach itself, arcades, mini golf , shops, ice cream , Donuts , one of the largest fish and chip shops PAPAS ,Ross Castle, our local RNLI and its new station that's being built, there is so much to see and do along the way, and of course our Spooktacular event The Con Before Christmas with all our fabulous traders , Guests , cosplayers , Elf Workshop , Santa's Grotto and so much more !!

Good Evening Everyone

Here is the price list for our wonderful Guests joining us on the 18th November!

Christopher Ryan - Christopher has starred in many films such as Santa Claus: The Movie (1985) playing Vout one of the head Elves, He is also known for his roles in The young ones as mike "the cool person", Dr Who as General Staal & Lord Kiv in The Trial of a Time Lord and so many more T.V series

Joshua Herdman - Best known for Playing Draco Malfoy's Slytherin Friend Gregory Goyle! as well as being a competitor in last years THE GAMES , among many other T.V series and Films.

Craig Dowsett - Known for his portrayal in Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey as Winnie himself , this may have started as a children's adventure story but this one is most certainly for the adults!
Craig has also played roles in The Area 51 Incident and The House That Zombies Built and has an extensive martial arts background with screen combat training.

They can be purchased on the day no need to pre book , just head to the information desk !

We are excited to announce this change from 'Cosplay Competition' to 'Cosplay Masquerade'.

Also, for all those hoping to take home a prize, make a note of the categories that the judges will be looking for! But the main message from us is that cosplay is for FUN! We look forward to running our first Cosplay Masquerade next month at The Con Before Christmas.

Happy FRIYAY!

With the announcement of The ELF Workshop we couldn't leave out the big man himself !

We are super excited to welcome a very special guest to the con before Christmas.

SANTA CLAUS!!!

You can visit Santa in his grotto on the 18th November and tell him everything you would like for Christmas!

There are various options available for this activity :-

(1) -You can see Santa for Free in Studio A from 1.30 - 2pm, where he will talk to you all about the North Pole , all things Christmas and of course what you would like for Christmas, feel free to take pictures and have some fun!
( Please note that this is a group activity so one to one time with Santa may not be possible, Comic Con tickets will need to be purchased to do this )

(2) V.I.P Meet and Greets with Santa
Includes:-
* one to one with Santa and head Elf in His Grotto
*Wrapped Gift - ( these will be aged from 2 - 6 & 7 +)
*Picture with Santa with a 6 x 4 print out

£5 per child ( for those who have already purchased Con Tickets )

If you have not purchased tickets for the Comic Con but would still love to visit the Elf workshop and see Santa you are able to purchase separate tickets for this !

£6 per child & £1 for additional adults
( children must have at least one adult with them)
