If anyone has one of our tea and toast hampers or matcha tbf u der tour Christmas tree 🎄 this year and not quite ready to put away the ice (*cough*there are alot of you) here is a simple iced coffee recipe you can try that give the warm holiday feeling with no fancy equipment required!! What you will need: Brown sugarShot of esspressoCaramel syrup Glass & ice 150ml of milk Whisk Kitchen torch •First add ice to your chosen glass•then in a separate cup mix your shot of caramel with 90ml of milk •whisk until you have a nice thick foam (this can take a couple of minutes) •then pour your remaining milk in your glass with ice &and top with the caramel foam you have just made•add your shot of esspresso•sprinkle over some brown sugar, just enough to cover the top•then touch the sugar until golden and bubbling! Be careful on this part though! And there tou have it your simple creme brulee latte!! Why not try it with matcha! Remember to save this so you can come back to it later! How to….matcha addition
we dont gatekeep here at Tea&toast and to celebrate our new matcha menu we are letting you in on how to make one of our Coconut water with matcha cold foam drinks at home! This is light and refreshing and perfect to drink anytime of the year! We have listed all you need and the steps to perfect your NEW favourite matcha drink at home
What you will need
🍵A Glass filled with ice
🍵300ml Of coconut water
🍵1Tsp of sugar (white or brown)
🍵60ml Of whipping cream
🍵20ml Of milk
🍵1&1/2 Tsp of Matcha powder
1)First add the coconut water to your glass with ice
2)In a separate glass add the sugar and whipoing cream and mix until combined
3)Add the Matcha powder and the milk and whisk with a milk frother until its yogurt like consistency
4)Spoon mixture onto your coconut water, top with coconut flakes amd a light dusting of matcha powder (this is optional but we think it looks great!) drink and enjoy!!There you have it guys!
