We were thrilled to support the local community in Sabden by contributing our event and technical expertise to the Rose Queen Fundraiser event at St Nicholas' church. This 75-year-old tradition saw Mia, the daughter of our Technical Manager, Shaune, as the 2023-2024 Rose Queen, prompting us to go above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion.

The day started with a traditional Bingo session led by Mia, followed by a lively Bingo Bonanza in the evening, featuring comedy hosts, fun prizes, dance-offs, and late-night celebrations. Our F2 panels in 4 columns, enhanced with special effects, and the vibrant lights & P.A system created an awesome ambiance for all.

One of the best parts was having H (aka Howard) with us for the night, many of you will recognise him as he hasn't changed one bit in 20 plus years since he was a regular on the ICS tech team, a life-long family friend.

The event was a huge success, with a full house, a well-managed licensed bar, and dedicated volunteers ensuring a smooth operation. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the fundraiser accumulated a remarkable total of £2,557.58 for the church's funds.

Another awesome looking event using the F2 led panels to create a 5m x 3m screen (which couldn’t of fit any closer to the ceiling if we tried 😅) for this event in Stratford-upon-Avon.

We created multiple presets to suit the variation of presentations, videos and graphics to really make the most from the screen.

We also supplied the PA system, iMacs for graphics and tech support - another seamless event produced by the team.

Great to work with Vicky Fagan and team who produced all screen backgrounds, videos and event management.

Spring has sprung at ICS Live

Out with the blue and in with the new 🌼

My regular Teams callers will this week notice my usual blue background wall has been replaced with a very bright yellow wall…the office was divided over this colour choice but I must say it’s brightened up the room.

This is the perfect city for a sales meeting and its exactly where our client Teva Pharmaceuticals chose for their meeting last week.
 
The is filled with history, relics and mesmerising photographs and Drawing Office One, the main space for the meeting is a beautiful light room which has been restored to its former glory in great detail.
 
Our equipment was loaded onto the truck for its journey across the Irish sea with our trusted trucker DJK Transport and the crew were waiting on the other side to unload and set up ready for the event the following day.
 
In a room as light as Drawing Office One the only option is LED and a 5m x 3m screen in a custom set rigged at head height was the perfect solution for the main content. We then added two 4m x 1m columns of LED for effects and used these for presenters names and animations.
 
This was a jam packed 2 days of upfront presentations, workshops and networking and you could really feel the excitement and connection between delegates who hadn’t seen each other face to face for so long.
 
Thank you to Colm Magee and the Teva team for having us, always such a pleasure.
 
We’ve worked with Teva for over 20 years and it really is like being one of the family, working together to achieve successful events, THE best job in the 🌎

Some of the ICS Live team on the later flight back to Manchester got the chance to go into the city and see some local sights, what a great end to the week!

LEAD THE WAY 2024

It was a pleasure to once again deliver this event for Safran in Burnley with Burnley Football Club as the venue of choice.

Setting up in the Longside we built a Stage Set to fit the space and to maximise the height of the screens. Wrapping the set in a custom print which incorporated the event logo gave the event solid indentity.

We created custom graphics for the LED screens and banners around the stadium, everywhere you looked was LEAD THE WAY!

The day was filled with team building, up front presentations, workshops and a game built on Kahoot! our first time using this platform and it won’t be the last, it’s perfect for these type of events.

Thank you to Steve Moffatt and the team at Safran for having us with them for the day and to Lucy Moss and the team for your hospitality, a pleasure to work with DENISE OSWELL and The Full Circle team as always too.

A little late in posting this one after a busy few weeks…

We set up at Boulevard Hotel Blackpool for the PHOENIX SLT Conference.

Filling the width of the room with LED screen at 9m x 2.5m to create a backdrop for the event with bespoke designs and animations.

For the event PowerPoint slides were added to the backdrop images for sessions.

Along with the screen we set up a PA system, lighting and all the AV to bring it together.

In the evening the very talented Michael brought Blackpool to life with a bespoke skyline animation which illuminated and gave dinner a new feel.

Thank you as always to the team that worked hard on this one to deliver another seamless event.

Special thanks to Camilla Statham who worked hard on beautiful graphics that tied in the theme and location perfectly.

Last week we were delighted to once again be asked to produce the 🏆 on behalf of 🌹

Held at in Blackburn the event celebrates tourism accross the wonderful county of

We flew our new 2.9mm pitch LED screen (it’s very first outing 🤩) and accompanied this with 6 pillars of Pixel Mesh either side for effects.

We added some more lights to the venue rig including Pointe’s which housed the bespoke Red Rose gobos and used the venue flown P.A system which was perfect for the awards and entertainment 🎉

My personal unique fave were the table centres by Bl
showcasing beautiful bottles of 😍

This was such a great event to be part of and the team who work hard to make the event happens deserve a big pat on the back 👏🏻

Hiring a venue is great for certain events but when you have a fantastic space at your new facility why not use that?

We had the pleasure of supplying AV for the PHOENIX UK OTC Supply Partnership Conference last week at their new PHOENIX Depot in Wakefield.

We made use of their 98” screen and built a stage set which lifted the screen higher for better viewing and made an on brand set backdrop for presentations.

Along with a P.A system, Stage, Graphic support and Lectern we set up some drape to create an additional breakout space for a workshop area and set up a 65” screen for more presentations.

A successful day all done on site at this fantastic facility.

We’re currently working on a project for NSHI Ltd to produce training videos 🎥

Using the restored Union Mill Chimney which floats up through the office block as a backdrop for presenters adds a unique and dynamic element to the video.

Our home, Union Mill in Sabden was once a weaving and cotton mill and its looms were powered by a steam powered single beam engine in the early 1800’s.

How wonderful that these buildings are still being used hundreds of years later.

At the weekend we helped turn our beautiful business home Union Mill into a winter wonderland for the Sabden Christmas Markets ❄️🎄

We are part of the community group ‘Sabden Collective’ that work together to put on events in the village to raise funds which can be used for community projects and future events.

We were pleased to donate the stage, backdrop, lighting and PA for the main performance area along with creating a Santa’s Grotto in a sectioned off area of our warehouse.

We had over 30 stalls selling local produce, crafts and gifts and performers took to the stage to entertain the crowd.

The Grotto raised an amazing £480 for Sabden Collective 🎅🏼 ❄️🎄🌟 and the event was a huge success.

Thank you to all involved, what an excellent team effort 🥰

Wow!

What an incredible weekend working with The Boparan Charitable Trust for their 10th annual Bright Star Ball 🌟

We’re proud to have supplied production for this event for every one of the 10 years and have to say the anniversary event was up there with the best!

£1.3 million pounds raised for children living in poverty, with disability or life limiting conditions - what an achievement.

Work started on this event at the start of the year, here is what we did…

🌟 Secured the headline artist - legends Madness 🎸 and comedic host Rob Brydon and managed all technical and production requirements for these and the amazing Pianist Lucy Illingsworth and the XS Showband
🌟 Managed all production for the event including reverse LED screen, side projection screens, audio requirements including tech riders, lighting and staging
🌟 Filmed and produced all charity videos played at the event
🌟 Designed all Keynote and graphics for the event
🌟Brought all of these elements together with an outstanding, dedicated team

Congratulations to Kayleigh Biggs, Gareth Aston and all at The Boparan Charitable Trust for an outstanding event, all of your hard work throughout the year certainly paid off and thank you for once again trusting us with your production 🥰

Our week has ended in London at 133 Hounsditch etc.venues.

We’ve built an exhibtion stand for Gold Sponsors of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society show Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

The 6m x 3m exhibition is a custom design for the client which has some modular pieces to suit various sized stands.

Key features are:
🟢Slatted wall with light box logo
🟢Bespoke overhead section with lights
🟢Table with wireless phone charging
🟢 Custom counter for client storage

With restrictions on the de-rig time available we worked a solution with the client to break the main components down leaving the light boxes in situ for the drinks reception.

Well done to a great team who pulled this one together, from client and venue liaison, on the design team and the installation team who carried some very heavy pieces up 6 flights of stairs and made the stand look as polished as ever.

Great to see Neil Harris & Jonathan Davies at the handover this morning, I hope the rest of the Teva team on the stand enjoyed their day.
