Robert Parker has been granted the ancient title of Bowbearer of The Forest of Bowland. Described as The 'Jewel in its Crown' this house is situated in the beautiful Hodder Valley amid 700 acres of parkland, woods and lake. The 17th Century barn has been restored to provide a unique and spectacular venue for weddings, parties and events.

Our Story

The 17thC Tithe Barn has been lovingly restored into a magnificent space for weddings, parties and events. Contemporary fittings and technology merge seamlessly with original, rustic wooden beams and stone walls. The outside courtyard with bar and wood-fired pizza oven is a perfect relaxing space for drinks and evening parties.

Historic Browsholme Hall dates from 1507 and has been lived in by 22 generations of the Parker family. Open to the public during the summer for tours of the Hall and gardens, come and hear the fascinating history of Lancashire’s oldest family home. Dogs are welcome and enjoy teas and light lunches in our Tithe Barn tearoom.
