Light, autumnal breezes and low afternoon sun set the scene for today's celebration of love and a passion for life, as Betsy and I have had the absolute pleasure of driving our beautiful bride Lauren (positively bursting with excitement) to meet her beau Sam.
Rufford Mill Wedding & Event Venue awaits our arrival, with the weather promising some stunning photo opportunities too.

Afternoon, Campers!

Well, another glorious day to be driving Betsy - over hills, down dales, even briefly underneath the Trans Pennine Trail... The views en route have been incredible, and as I reached the crest of one of many hills, the most beautiful sight opened up - a carpet of deep pink and purple heather bathed in warm sunlight on the side of a hill ahead.

Our excited bride and groom were ready to greet me, and, amazingly, were also wearing purple and thankfully have also been bathed in sunlight, much to everyone's delight 💜

I'm currently perched with a cuppa, whilst they are married. I've opted for a shady spot with Betsy, what with me being an (apparently former!!) redhead 😅🤣

What a beautiful wedding on Saturday. Our Bride and Groom never stopped smiling and everything was so well thought out. Married at The Red Bar & Grill - Mansfield - a late afternoon wedding followed by some lovely pictures in Betsy, then onwards and upstairs to the par-tay!

Another fabulous day out in Betsy today, driving the boys to Horsley Lodge. Super smart and ready to go, we left the groom's home twenty minutes early and chilled our way through the villages en route before spotting Horsley's impressive fountain. We're definitely nipping back down for a few pics there with the lovely Bride and Groom 😍 Wowsers!

Betsy and I have had the absolute pleasure of driving our beautiful sparkling bride, in convoy with her bridesmaids, to the Pheasantry Brewery Weddings and Events on this beautifully sunny but cool day.

Such a great chilled vibe here, and the breeze whispering through the trees is creating such a peaceful, serene backdrop for the layers of laughter floating over from their celebrations.

(There's also the smell of the most amazing food wafting over, which is making me hungry....!)

Thinking back to only yesterday when it was sunny and bright... Aaaand back into hoodies and slippersox at Vintage HQ 😅

Here's a ladybird we rescued yesterday, and a great shot of some gorgeous cherry blossom. I love giving a branch a little shake on the way past - the blossom flutters down and catches the breeze like the most perfect confetti!

Looking forward to seeing our next gorgeous couple real soon 😍

I'm really starting to feel like this year's bright wedding vibes are making their way to the surface after a particularly wet and windy winter.
