What a beautiful wedding on Saturday. Our Bride and Groom never stopped smiling and everything was so well thought out. Married at The Red Bar & Grill - Mansfield - a late afternoon wedding followed by some lovely pictures in Betsy, then onwards and upstairs to the par-tay!

Another fabulous day out in Betsy today, driving the boys to Horsley Lodge. Super smart and ready to go, we left the groom's home twenty minutes early and chilled our way through the villages en route before spotting Horsley's impressive fountain. We're definitely nipping back down for a few pics there with the lovely Bride and Groom 😍 Wowsers!

Betsy and I have had the absolute pleasure of driving our beautiful sparkling bride, in convoy with her bridesmaids, to the Pheasantry Brewery Weddings and Events on this beautifully sunny but cool day.

Such a great chilled vibe here, and the breeze whispering through the trees is creating such a peaceful, serene backdrop for the layers of laughter floating over from their celebrations.

(There's also the smell of the most amazing food wafting over, which is making me hungry....!)

Thinking back to only yesterday when it was sunny and bright... Aaaand back into hoodies and slippersox at Vintage HQ 😅

Here's a ladybird we rescued yesterday, and a great shot of some gorgeous cherry blossom. I love giving a branch a little shake on the way past - the blossom flutters down and catches the breeze like the most perfect confetti!

Looking forward to seeing our next gorgeous couple real soon 😍

I'm really starting to feel like this year's bright wedding vibes are making their way to the surface after a particularly wet and windy winter.

Crikey Mikey, it is May already! And things are certainly hotting up at Vintage HQ. And cooling down. Oh, this weather!! To be (in shorts), or not to be (in shorts), that is the question. Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not, whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot, we'll weather the weather whatever the weather, whether we like it or not!

There was a 30 minute window of weather on Saturday that I think we can all agree was less than favourable...... But, during that terrific downpour, our lovely Bride and Groom tied the knot! At the VERY gorgeous Hazel Gap Barn WOW. What a venue!

What a wonderful year it has been!

As the nights draw in, I am thinking about the many beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of being part of, and the bounty of fantastic couples I have been honoured to meet.

Driving Betsy gives me such joy, and sharing her with you all has been amazing.

Here's a gorgeous shot of her from Saturday, chilling (literally) in the autumn leaves whilst we waited for the happy couple to emerge from the church.
