This vital organisation offers day care facilities for those suffering from dementia & Alzheimer disease, along with support and advice for the family of those suffering.

They organise day trips and activities for their patrons, providing stimulation, company & compassion.

Our charity Elton John & Billy Joel tribute night on Friday 31st January will benefit two local charities, one of which is Diamonds in the Community. This amazing Airdrie based charity is a hugely vital part of our community. They run the Monklands Mother & Baby bank and a clothing bank. They also organise Children's Sports Camps & Trips, The Memories Project, a Walk & Talk group and offer free period products to those in need. This is just the tip of what these guys do. They are local heroes.

We have a post Christmas treat with our annual Roast with Rod night on the 27th December, featuring James Frew as Simply Rod Stewart giving us all the hits, but not before you receive a drink on arrival and then enjoy one of our delicious roast dinners.

We are delighted to be hosting a very special charity tribute night with the outstanding Elton John & Billy Joel tributes, Piano Men at the hotel on Friday 31st January.

The Piano Men is a tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel that has been packing out theatres on a month long sell-out tour of Australia. The guys did two sold-out charity shows for us back in January this year and are returning to play in the newly refurbished function suite.

Martin Cox is regarded as one of the finest Elton John tributes around having starred in ITVs Starstruck and is much in demand at festivals across Europe. Gaz Jenkins has been the number 1 Billy Joel tribute in the UK for the last decade, where he packs theatres out across the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Those who were lucky enough to catch these guys last year will tell you how good they are. You honestly will think you are watching the real thing.

All profits from this show will be donated to local charities EK Dementia Carers Group & Diamonds in the Community. The EAST KILBRIDE & DISTRICT DEMENTIA CARERS GROUP run day care facilities and support for those with dementia, giving advice and support to the families of sufferers. 50rpm are bringing punk legend Fay Fife of The Rezillos to the hotel with her fantastic new band The Countess Of Fife on the 27th March. The band features local legend Brian McFie (The Big Dish / Valerie & The Week Of Wonders) on guitar and the brilliant Kirsten Adamson on backing vocals and guitar.

The band have been winning rave reviews for their fiery alt-country meets punk, seeing the Scotsman describe them as "The Cramps meets Johnny Cash."
