Bit of a long winded one here but please bare with me
So recently we’ve had to put our prices up against our will, due to hiking costs in Holland .
As most of you will know we buy direct from Holland to get the prices we do and we were able to do certain deals and smaller bunches as we “buy big or go home”
As Del Boy puts it !!
The British government have now put various checks in place which means that our Dutch lorries are getting held up at the ports and borders, this in turn is incurring costs which are being passed onto us the florists .
Into the bargain the Dutch growers have halved the production they grow which in turn means higher demand and prices for us when we’re trying to buy sensibly .
So in the meantime as a small family run business we are doing everything in our power to make sure we survive and make sure we stay afloat and open for business.
We hope this this will pass eventually and really appreciate all your support at this time because if you didn’t all support us we would have to close .
Now we obviously don’t want that anymore than you do!
So please appreciate that we have put certain changes to our pricing structure to keep us afloat and in business.
Once again thank you all for your continued support as if it weren’t for you we wouldn’t be here ,love you all teamluckyorchid ###

Hi guys just a wee update ! As from now on please don’t be offended if we ask for further details, ie name address and contact number , when taking contactless or card payments either over the phone or in the shop ! This has came about as a chargeback was created with a contactless payment at one of our busiest times , 19th December where they were fully aware we can’t keep track and they were delivered to a house ! (No way of tracking as there were hundreds )We as a small family run business work extremely hard for every penny , and we are very upset that a customer of ours has went to their bank , created a chargeback saying they never made the transaction ! Instead of contacting us direct ! In turn the bank automatically takes the money from our account and charges us administrative fees on top ! So these new measures will be taking place as immediate effect to stop further problems ! In 21 years of business we have never had to enforce such measure but please understand why we feel the need to do so ! And thankyou to all our loyal customers for your continued support !
